Many restaurants in Little Italy have become destinations, among them the Busalacchi family's Nonna. The rustic décor features a relaxed country-style feel throughout the restaurant, including the delightful patio. The wonderfully welcoming atmosphere celebrates yet another delicious Sicilian food lineup, including pizzas and all that you would expect from an authentic Italian menu. The terrific entrées show the Sicilian influence, and fill the restaurant with great aromas.

                                                                                                      Such a beautiful lunch at Nonna this Saturday afternoon! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the weather, along with Nonna’s amazing service & food. We had the margherita pizza, pesto gnocchi & carbonara. The owner surprised us with a cannoli which was a real treat! Counting down the days until we come back to Nonna.

                                                                                                      We always love going to Nonna. It has become a staple over the years. Service today was great, and our server gifted us with some cookies out the door. I had the mushroom tortellini which was simply divine. My boyfriend always gets the margherita pizza (which I always steal a slice of) and Nonna's Pilsner is one of his favorite beers of all time. The cappuccino from the coffee bar and an espresso martini are go-tos for myself. We can never leave without stopping at the Zucherro dessert bar and picking something to take home. Thank you for a consistently nice experience!

                                                                                                      We decided to try Nonna because we've eaten at all the other Restos on the block. Seated, received our drinks, and food very fast. Waiter was excellent. Good customer service. We ordered the Arancini, margarita pizza, tortellini, and the valentines special which was a short rib lasagna. Oh and we tried the lemon cheesecake and pistachio cannoli. Only issue was with the short rib lasagna. Being that the price was $37, I would expect a decent amount of short rib. As a chef, it looked like 2 ounces. Taste was there but not the short rib. I should've just ordered the short rib plate. It's not about the money, it's about the serving size. 80% pasta, Demi glaze/béchamel, and cheese. Other than that it was a mediocre dinner.

                                                                                                      Great experience overall! We had reservations & were sat immediately. We’re lucky to find street parking too. (No charge at the meters on Sundays!) ordered the chicken parm & a shrimp dish. Both delicious. They even brought a lovely piece of cheesecake for my daughter’s birthday.

                                                                                                      Nonna’s outside patio is adorable and a bit more intimate and cozy then the open dining room. Luca and staff gave us excellent service. The food was well prepared and the overall experience was great for our date night with friends.

                                                                                                      Our service was fantastic. Food was fine. Probably being picky but don’t call it short rib and serve braised chuck. I also have a peeve about being served dinner when we just started appetizers.
