   This is overpriced for Jacksonville. The prices are reflective of Las Vegas sushi. You may be able to charge that in Vegas but you shouldn’t be able to charge that here. Overpriced.

   Quality of food is great. Menu has been slimmed down considerably, but there are still many great options... ask about the Omakase... not on the menu. Was surprised that our table was not ready or close to ready at reservation time, however, that did not impact the great service or food quality. consistently a great experience.

   The food was excellent, however, my husband ordered the grouper, and it took about an hour for his food, which was about a 4 oz grouper and a sprig of bok choy. It was perfectly cooked though. We'll definitely go again, but order the cooked food ahead of time.

   We went to celebrate my son’s birthday and did not have the experience we’d hoped for. Our server was quiet and did not describe dishes accurately. My husband ate sushi with a sauce he would’ve asked to be removed had he known it was on it. We don’t like to complain. I ordered the filet and after 30 min asked a runner delivering sushi to our table to please check on it. She did not return. 45 min later I asked our server. She said 3 min it would be out. It came out at 1 hour of being seated. It came out cold, over cooked, missing the starch side to which she responded simply, they ran out. No offer to add an alternative. Also the mushroom side was replaced with spring veggies. This was a $50 plate. I sent it back and they did take it off the bill. I never saw a manager or had an offer to make it right. My son spent far too much time worried about me not eating than enjoying his special night out. Since they were finished we left and I enjoyed a chick-fil-a sandwich on the way home - that gets 5 stars.

   This restaurant never disappoints. Probably the best sushi/asian food in Jax. Service staff takes great care of customers and gives excellent explanation of every item.

   Good meal, lots of potential. The major things that detracted from our experience however were that so many dishes were served at once. High end Japanese experiences serving Nigiri, Sushi, etc should be served one at a time, otherwise it forces the guest to feel rushed to eat, rather than savor these small dishes one at a time. Additionally, the cuts of fish were often very thick. When eating these types of meals, I’m not worried about getting as much fish as possible on a piece of nigiri or as sashimi. Similar to how I wouldn’t want a thick slice of prosciutto, the same goes for fish for nigiri or sashimi. Otherwise, the flavors were great and the servers were very kind and attentive.

   Cosy bistro atmosphere, creative Japanese cuisine, highest quality ingredients, great selection of draft beers, including my favorite Hitachino Nest White Ale. Excellent place for a night out on special occasion. Quite expensive, but worth every penny.

   I had an incredible dining experience at Norikase in Jacksonville Beach! The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, making it perfect for a special evening out. The omakase experience was exceptional—each dish was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing the freshest ingredients and creative flavor combinations. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, walking us through each course with great detail and enthusiasm. Every bite was a work of art, from the perfectly seared Wagyu to the melt-in-your-mouth sashimi. The sake pairings elevated the entire experience. Norikase is a must-visit for sushi lovers and anyone looking for an unforgettable culinary adventure. I can’t wait to return.

   Very creative menu, rotating seasonally to stay innovative. Lovely dining room. Music generally on the louder side is the only detraction.

    I think the only reason to come back is for the Omakase experience. After that any normal sushi place will be just as good to me and better on the price
