North Fork is a brand-new eatery that pulls its inspiration from the northwest outdoors, with a key focus on sourcing ingredients from local farmers and purveyors within Oregon. Our space, crafted from reclaimed fir down to the bar, and the locally-sourced garnishes in our cocktails, all contribute to a superior farm-to-fork dining experience. We proudly serve Oregon grassfed beef and wild seafood harvested from the rivers and coastline of Oregon. Moreover, we showcase Oregon's award-winning beer varieties and present a curated wine list from the region's smaller vineyards. It's our mission to become the preferred dining spot for individuals looking to savor Oregon's distinct flavors and aesthetic beauty, and the local's choice for a friendly gathering place.

Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
North Fork Tavern delights with "amazing food" and "top notch" service. The brunch menu, featuring "choose-your-own adventure mimosa," and dinner options like shrimp and grits are crowd-pleasers. The atmosphere is vibrant with friendly staff, although holiday dining might not be their strength. Ideal for both casual and special occasions.

I really want to leave a better review but I can’t. Took an hour to get our meals and they were not even remotely hot. The food looked great, tasted ok for almost cold food but if I’m spending $20 a plate or more I want my food served in a reasonably timely manner and to be served hot. Very disappointing as I had invited my daughter and her husband to come and try this place out.

Food was fantastic. Ordered a moscow mule and it was not great. Service was outstanding. High noise level but expected that from a pub. I would recommend for the food and service.

It took over 40 min to get our first appetizer. There was no place online showing the cost of the special Valentine's dinner, and we didn't find out until after making the reservation and sitting down at the table that it would be $65 a person. They brought the wrong appetizer out for my meal. I ordered the crab cake, and I received the mushroom with cheese. They did let me keep the mushroom dish and brought out the crab cake. My partner's appetizer was the beef skewers, and he asked for medium well done on the steak. Most of the steak bites were medium rare to rare, and he was not able to eat it. The pumpkin soup was delicious, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The only ambiance they added for Valentine's Day was a single rose on the table. The booth I was sitting in had rips in the cushion. Overall, for a Valentine's Day dinner that had a high cost, the experience was only subpar. The best part was my pumpkin soup. The salmon and the dessert tasting good.

I made this reservation for 2/14 on 1/17, knowing it's a busy night for many restaurants. We booked a high top and noted it was for a birthday. We arrived and were seated at a low table. Not what we asked for, but not a deal breaker. We then look at the menu amd discover they don't have their regular menu - this is a fixed course meal. Keep in mind I made this reservation for 4 to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday. She specifically requested we go there for the mac. When I realized what was happening I asked the hostess who was passing by if that was our only option. She snipped yes, and that I should have seen it when I made the reservation. Well, I didn't see it, and no one at North Fork thought to notify people who had made reservations that this would be the case. Our served then showed up (finally) and I let her know we wouldn't be staying because this isn't what we expected. She told us, "good luck finding a place that isn't slammed tonight." The table mixup I can forgive. The menu miscommunication I could forgive. But the staff acting like it was my fault did not sit well with me. We sat there for maybe 2 minutes trying to gather our thoughts on what to do next when the hostesses came back to tell me they needed our table and thatvwe needed to leave. They wanted to shoo me, my daughter, and my elderly parents out of there as fast as they could. We waited longer for our server to come to the table than it took for us to deliberate on our next move. I always thought NF was kinda pretentious, and the food was overrated amd overpriced for what it is, but I was willing to overlook that to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Bougie as the kids say. North Fork made it easy for me to say never again. There are way better places in Eugene. We found one and had a nice evening elsewhere.

The service was great. The waiter and receptionist were very friendly and accommodating. The shrimp and grits were off the charts good. My wife loved her BLT with avocado. Good drinks also!

Great spot for brunch! The French toast and biscuits & gravy were both delicious and I love that you can get a choose-your-own adventure mimosa: bottle of champagne and your choice of juice. The servers were all very friendly and attentive too!

We had the best dinner! Highlights were the fried chicken, tuna, strawberry salad, and loaded fries. Portions were great value and the service was wonderful! We will be back!
