The host stand is absolutely awful however the server was great. The food took quite a bit of time which I normally don’t mind however one app came out in 6 mins the other 25 mins. The entrees were flavorful enough however the overall feel was a cattle heading cookie cutter feel. Think Cheesecake Factory or TGI Fridays. Upon leaving my guest left her Togo food. Bye the time we realized and came back from the parking lot. We were informed the table was already sat with new guests ant the Togo food thrown out. (Solid customer service people). Probably won’t be back and hopefully the server finds a better restaurant to call home. Good luck y’all

To be frank I was very disappointed. I chose this or my last night in san antonio and it was not tasty. We had to flag someone down for silverware and napkins after the appetizer had been served. Had to remind the server we asked or lemon twice. The specialty drink a pomegranate mule was nothing special at $15. The seafood dish i got had a gelatinous butter sauce with no seasoning and a single peice of wilted mint mentioned in the description. Plus it was room temperature. The pasta that came with the chicken parm had a sauce that tasted like boiled cream. We would have asked for salt and paper but never saw our waiter again until he end. The final blow was the server came over setting someone else's dirty dishes on our table in front of me while he stacked ours. Just tacky, not what I would expect at the price point.

Celebrated my partner and his mom’s birthday - both had a wonderful experience. Words cannot express my thanks to our waiter. He was attentive, polite and enthusiastic.

North Italia is our favorite date night restaurant. There's something about the modern, yet comfortable, vibe that we love. And the food was as stellar as always. Our server was friendly and spot on..... with the perfect amount of attention at our table.... not too little, not too much. We'll be back.

We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at North Italia in San Antonio, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for our special evening. We started with the calamari appetizer, which was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was a delightful start to our meal. For the main course, my wife chose the Tortelloni al Pomodoro, and she couldn't stop raving about it. The pasta was fresh, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. I opted for the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, and it was absolutely delicious. The perfect balance of spice and creaminess made every bite a pleasure. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure our evening was perfect. North Italia truly made my wife's birthday celebration special, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!

This was a much better experience than last time. I ordered a signature drink on the menu, and it was good. Last time, it was watered down and not authentic (seems the bartender does not know what a French 75 is). I ordered the Grilled Branzino - the fish was good and done well, not overdone. The sides on this dish need a bit of work. It is supposed to be small fingerling potatoes and brussels sprouts. I had 1.5 brussels sprout and two tiny potatoes. Service was attentive and good. Food took a bit of time to come out. This restaurant seems to be cutting corners on food (probably to save money) and seems a bit understaffed.

It was our first time going and I’ll just say that I was so impressed with the quality of the food. The pasta was made from scratch and the food was amazing! The icing on the cake was the butter cake!!! I’m normally a chocolate lover but this cake might make me change my mind….it was that good!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

The ambience was perfect for date night. The cocktails were delicious, specifically the Italian margarita. It was a busy Saturday. Our server was very friendly, however It took 20 min for us to be noticed. Had to ask for things multiple times and it took a long while for our food to come out. Will try again on weeknight. The food was great.
