   First visit in a long time. Stunning refurbishment, lovely buzzy Sunday atmosphere, warm welcome and lovely service throughout. Food was impeccable. There are Sunday Roasts and Sunday Roasts, this was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, very generous portions. Impossible to fault.

   We had a delightful time and loved the food the only fault was the roast potatoes. Callum was a super star. Thank you so much and see you in a couple of weeks. Very kind regards Richard

   Have eaten and stayed here a few times. It never disappoints. Food is fabulous, all the staff are attentive but not in your face all the time. Would highly recommend.

   The reception was very friendly. We felt welcome. We had a small dog with us and she was welcome, too. First we had drinks in the pub as we got there too early. The restaurant is modern and comfortably furnished. The distance between tables is pleasant. The service was quick, courteous and attentive. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good, too fatty and not seasoned enough. The fried potatoes and French fries tasted good. Too expensive we think.

   Visited with family on Sat 2/11/24 and had booked a table for 12-30. We were given the choice of eating in the bar or restaurant and we chose the restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent and all of our party agreed that this is up there with the best meals out we have had and would strongly recommend this venue. This is a lovely pub with restaurant, with outside space and accommodation if required. Ideal for friends and family meals and also can accommodate group bookings Will definitely go back would rate this a very strong 9 1/2 out of 10.

    Fantastic atmosphere. Relaxed, great service. Food excellent. Came here on a recommendation so thought we would try it. Its half an hour from my home but will definitely visit again with friends. Found it a little noisy. I think thats the building we were in the ceiling was decorated with lovely string lights ( we went in the evening) also you can sit outside opposite the pub which is across the road and get service from there. Brilliant. May even stay a night as they have bed and breakfast but only 4 rooms which makes it all more personal
