   First time here and will definitely be revisiting. Had our dog with us who was made very welcome. The team are so lovely really helpful nothing was too much. Felt like visiting a friend. The food was very good had the Sunday roast, really enjoyable. Bubbly atmosphere felt a nice comfortably place to be. Thank you xx

   Perfect Boxing Day lunch for two. Service a little slow but exceeded expectations for a busy Boxing Day. Delicious food, good selection, great service. Recommended!

   Slightly disappointing as we had requested a specific table when booking online (which has always worked previously) only to be told that this wasn’t the case on arrival. Special family occasion, hence booking in advance and requesting specific table so disappointed that this wasn’t carried through. Will still be back as love the restaurant but took the edge off a little.

   We had a delicious roast lunch today with all the family. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. So glad we booked as every table was full. We’ll definitely book again soon.

   Wonderful Sunday lunch - the best roast dinner in ages. For such a large party (table of 10) during a packed Christmas service, everything was spot on and very tasty. The extra gravy, veggies and cauliflower cheese went down well. Thank you for hosting our family get together and looking after us so well. A perfect, proper pub.

    Ten out of ten on all aspects staff were brilliant friendly and attentive . Food was served at the same time and presented to a very high standard . Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the occasion which was a family gathering to celebrate my Dads 85th birthday .. would recommend 100% .. thank you all x
