Extremely disappointed. After reading all the good reviews, we were looking forward to our dinner at Nua. Our experience was not good. The outdoor patio is nice, very pleasant, if a little noisy. The Jerusalem bagel is a misnomer. It's not like any America bagel, its a loaf of bread, topped with sesame seeds. It was good. The accompanying tahina is good, but too small a portion. Worth ordering. After that, it went downhill. My wife ordered the Shuk Salad w/salmon. The Salmon was inedible, overcooked to the point where she couldn't cut it w/a knife. It was dry & basically terrible. The Shuk salad was overdressed, sopping in dressing, & pretty much inedible. My Schnitzel was ok, not one of the best i have had. I did get the fries crisp, as i ordered them, & they were somewhat without salt, but did have traces of the paprika & some salt on them. i think they fried them in the same oil they fried the "normal" fries in, which left residuals of paprika & salt on them. They tried, but didn't really think this through. the real disappointment was our waiter, Alexander W. He was inattentive, disappeared for a long time & didn't come by our table much. For example, i had to ask him 3 times for lemons for the schnitzel & it took way too long for him to finally get me the lemons when i was about done with my schnitzel. I had to ask another waiter for lemons. Our waiter Alexander come by our table, realized he didn't bring it, & then, too long after, only brought one wedge. I had to ask him for more. I drink a lot of water, & when he took away our water bottle, he failed to replace it w/a full water bottle. Unacceptable. I finally got some more water after asking another server for it. We had to ask multiple times for the bill, asking other waiters & then had to chase our waiter to get the bill & then chase him to pay it. Even if this was an off night, this is unacceptable. We will not return & not recommend Nua.

We were visiting and decided to try. Alex was attentive and provided excellent service. Food was phenomenal. The hummus was one of the best we’ve had and the ribeye tender and made just as ordered. Recommended to colleagues who live in the area. Will be back on our next visit!

Fantastic location, the staff were SO accommodating with the heaters when it was cooler than expected. The food is amazing- I've been there for dinner and this was my first for brunch- still started with the Arayes because they are unreal great- so happy to see them on the brunch menu. At our table we had the avocado toast and the shakshuka- both were fantastic. Kudos to the chef. Our server was truly attentive and wonderful, without hovering. Nua is all around a wonderful experience: highly recommend. We will be back.

We went because we had theater tickets at the Wallis so an easy walk and parking convenient ! The patio is nicely arranged both heated and protected from street. The items we tried were cauliflower, grilled eggplant tahini, shuk salad, hummus and vegan shwarma. In my world the eggplant salata would be room temp or warmed slightly with less oil covering it. The cauliflower was tasty perhaps just a wee bit heavy on the salt. I liked the hummus texture but sort of meh- the garbanzos fresh warm and tender but it was lacking in punch-acid perhaps? Pita hot and toast y🙂‍↔️yay the shawarma was just too gooey. veggies unrecognizable under all the sauce good concept ( vegan options always appreciated ) just too sloppy. Has to be eaten with knives and forks. All in all it worked out fine but probably wouldn’t return The chicken thigh shawarma and burger looked delicious tho
