   The ambience was nice…dimmed lights, open space. Though, it got a bit noisy. Carol was honestly the best part of my experience. She was energetic, attentive, knowledgeable about menu items, had recommendations, and very friendly. The dishes I tried (rock shrimp, short rib) were fine, nothing to write home about. I would love to return to try the rolls and miso soup.

   Took forever to get our drink order and then waiter forgot that a couple people at our table ordered a second round. However, waiter was nice and food was, as always, very well prepared and delicious.

   Jackie at the bar was amazing. She did a very good job of describing the saki’s and the sashimi making it easy to make good choices.

   The restaurant was fairly busy, which is always good to see, however the service was lacking. It was our first time there, we were not familiar with the menu and our server did not explain it to us. We relied on pictures from the instagram page to pick our meal. Another server (the manager I think) dropped an appetizer on our table which we didn’t order. Later we found out it was a gift for the table. The food was good. The service seemed to be overwhelmed by the crowd. While the food and ambiance was good for a night out, the restaurant was lacking the intimate vibe, due to us sitting close to the next table, we could overhear their entire conversation( while entertaining it was also distracting). I’d be remiss to call this a “fine dining” it’s more like a fancy Japanese small bites

    Food and service were amazing. Always love a sushi restaurant with fresh wasabi. Only suggestion - list it $$$ instead of $$. Spent over $200 on dinner for two and two glasses of wine. Worth it!
