   Really not great! Came to London for the weekend and was recommended O Ver. Booked weeks ago. Couldn’t have been more disappointed. On arriving we thought how lovely the restaurant looked only to be walked through the restaurant to a door at the back leading down into a damp, dark gloomy basement, asked to step over a glass coffee table to get to a table set for two in a corner. I can honestly say it is the worst restaurant table we have ever sat at. To make the situation even worse was the large party next to us where one guest was arguing with the front of house over his burnt pizza. The large table should have had the basement to themselves they were so loud, swearing, shouting. The waiting staff couldn’t get to our table unless they stepped over the coffee table. We ordered pizza and asked for the wine list - which apparently had to be brought down from upstairs? Pizza was very good but honestly it didn’t matter the whole evening was beyond anything we could have dreamt up. Could not leave quick enough. Sorry but would not return, would not recommend. Front of house rude and arrogant and clearly has no idea about keeping customers happy. We asked to be moved and she didn’t even try to find an alternative table. Should never have expected anyone to sit in the dark damp inaccessible corner we were asked to! Really spoilt our Saturday night in London!

   Great staff, lovely environment. The olives!!! We really had a very very lovely evening. All the food was delicious

   Our waiter was super nice and the food was great. Sat in the bar downstairs after which was a great vibe too

   O' Ver restaurant was a very surpising discovery. We were welcomed warmly and we were offered to hang our jackets in a separate area. There was a good vibe, quite classy but yet cosy, with opera music in the background. The service was excellent. The food was spectacular. I am Italian and it was great to taste the flavours of home. We ordered artichokes and crocche' as starters, both amazing; sausage and porcini pasta, and then tiramisu' and cannolo scomposto as a dessert. I would recommend especially the artichokes and the cannolo, but also the rest was great. Great experience, we will definitely go back.

   Food is superb, from perfect pasta to a superb soup. Ambience and service is spot on. My favourite high end Italian - it’s opposite the Menier Chocolate Factory so great for pre- theatre. Note that if you book for 1730 and arrive early they may well not be open.

   Nice early evening meal. Atmospheric candlelit place as it filled with people. Friendly staff. Good food.

   Beautiful restaurant ideally located if you are going to Meniere Chocolate Factory. Extremely friendly staff. Service could be a bit slow at times Food delicious

   Having booked a table, we arrived to a very muddled reception. Neither of the staff seemed able to recognise the booking, even though it was clearly on the screen. They tried to seat us next to the grill, and after we made a fuss, we got a decent quiet table. Not a good start. One of the managers, Carolina, took charge, apologised and subsequently treated us very charmingly. The pizzas were superb.

    A really cool place but we didn’t expect it to be that cool! There was no heating in the restaurant for most of the meal which spoiled it a bit. We couldn’t fault the food it was very good indeed.
