   It’s supposed to be fine dining. It falls way short. We had the wedge salad, a steakhouse classic. and I requested no tomatoes. “Yes. Of course, sir.” So I picked them off upon delivery. The salad was terrible funky tasting with scallions and carmelized onions. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were powdered And the creamed spinach was off too. The overly tentative staff kept asking weird leading questions like,” Is your food excellent?” And it’s hard to say, “No.” While trying to give it a chance. The steak was served Peter Luger style with the hot plate tilted so that you could further sear it. But the steak was room temperature and under done. We had asked for it medium and we had to send it back. But oddly when it came back it was better done but still the steak was not warm. I am writing this the next day so I am happy to report I didn’t have a bad stomach afterward. So that’s a bonus I wasn’t necessarily expecting. The place is beautiful and expensive. The location deserves a great chef.

   What a disappointment. After all the good Open Table reviews, we were excited to enter a location that we hadn't been in since before the pandemic and it may be more beautiful than before. But, the food was very mediocre across the board, with the only recommended items being the crab cakes and the mushrooms. Everything else was relatively tasteless. Tuna tartare was so overly covered with other items that one couldn't taste the tuna, for example. Service was disappointing, although offering a second bread basket and constant refilling the water glasses was nice. They didn't offer the wine list until requested (very nice list, but some more reasonable items should be added), they didn't replace cutlery removed after the appetizers without being asked, and they didn't know who ordered what, either for the appetizers or entrees, a faux pas in an upscaled restaurant. Prices are fair for the ambiance, and portions are large, but since the food isn't particularly good, that doesn't matter.

   Wonderful service, nice menu but only for dinner. Would appreciate a brunch/lunch menu with lighter options. Quality and presentation of food good. Lovely comfortable dinning room. Nice location with easy parking. Give it a try. We will return.

   Prior experiences were not good but we decided to try again since “ under new management” announced a few months ago. A terrific turnaround and we plan to return with friends and family! Menu improved along with more reasonable pricing. Service dramatically improved.

    Excellent dining experience. Great wait staff with all the glitz of a superb establishment. The food was prepared with the excellence of a master chef! Both the presentations and taste of the Dover Sole and my Wife's Swordfish special were amongst the best ever.
