At the heart of town right on the beach in Philipsburg you will find the Holland House Beach Hotel. The Ocean Lounge restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate, have a casual dinner overlooking the ocean, relax and sample the cuisine created by the international mix of chefs. The restaurant offers a beautiful evening setting with an open air lounge cool music and boutique style vibe. The bar serves craft cocktails and a wide selection of wines from the Wine Spectator awarded wine cellar. Staff will welcome you with a warm Caribbean smile and courtesy and offer you the lunch or dinner menu full of International, European and local Caribbean dishes like the fresh Spiny Lobsters from the Saba bank. Nine years later and it's as great as we remembered it. The service was impeccable. Yohan impressed us with his attentiveness, excellent communication skills, and his positive attitude. He's a great asset at Holland House. All our meals/drinks were delicious and served in beautiful surroundings and views. Loved spending our evening there.

We reserved a table but when we arrived our table was taken. Service very slow. We had to wait more than 1 hour. Food was not hot. Disappointing experience !

It is hard to find parking here, but there is a parking lot for the restaurant down a narrow alley (look for a small sign). Since it’s inside a hotel it was a bit confusing as to where the hostess stand for the restaurant was. It did not help that we stood by the hostess stand for 7 minutes as staff walked by us multiple times as well as the manager and ignored us until they were ready to acknowledge our presence. My daughter ordered her steak medium and it was definitely medium rare (on the verge of rare). The food was ok, the wait staff was ok, nothing to boost about and wish we hadn’t wasted a dinner here knowing how many other great places there are on the island.

Very difficult as most places in Saint Martin to find a place to park once inside staff was very welcoming. Food was delicious.

We have had better steak. Also we informed them it was our 20 year anniversary and they didn’t even acknowledge it. When you decide to spend your time with a special restaurant they should at least acknowledge it! Ambiance is good! Price is high.

We were excited to go here and celebrate our 25th anniversary, which I put in the reservation request. When we arrived, we were seated at a table with a fabric seat that had been soaked earlier in the day and I ended up with a soggy dress. They also put us next to a table with a small child watching tv loudly on their parents phone. I don’t have problem with kids but it wasn’t exactly the atmosphere I was hoping for to celebrate our anniversary. The food was ok, nothing special. The highlight was that our server was excellent but that didn’t make up for the experience. I wouldn’t go back. There are better restaurants in St. Martin.

Hands down, it is one of our best dining experiences on the island! Our server was terrific, and it made us feel special with a birthday celebration while playing “Celebrate” by Kool & the Gang and took amazing photos of us. They also played old-school Jah Cure, which matched the vibe of the beautifully designed restaurant on the boardwalk overlooking the water.
