   we had the shrimp saute for an app, which was good, not heavy on the cream so a nice sauce. the chilean sea bass was good as was the chicken (though the bread salad had too much dressing on it), the carrot cake is always delicious. ordered the rodney strong chardonnay which was $13 and were told you ran out of it (not upon order but after he put in the order for it), server recommended a "wine in the same price range" but it wasn't, it was $17, not cool. I wouldn't consider that a similar price.

   We went for my husband's birthday dinner and enjoyed it very much. He had 1/2 lb. king crab legs and a 10 oz. filet mignon and devoured it all with great relish. I had the teriyaki salmon and it was delicious as well. Our server offered a free birthday dessert and we chose the chocolate torte to take home. So rich and chocolatey! Thank you Ocean Prime for a memorable evening.

   We go here for special occasions and they never disappoint. The food is always amazing whether you order the fish or the steak and the service is always top notch. Well done! And thank you for your attention to detail and fine service (it’s rare these days).

   We had an uncharacteristically bad experience Friday at Ocean Prime Friday evening. We’re both on a calorie restrictive diet but wanted to treat ourselves so ordered two Seafood Cobb salads and an Ocean Prime roll and to share (along with drinks). We were conscious to eat early so that we weren’t taking a table for a small meal during prime dinner hour. Drink service was great, and are appetizer arrived fairly timely but we had to wait for them to bring chopstick’s and soy sauce. Then it took a very long time to get our salads . After that we sat and sat before getting our bill. Our waiter sat chatting for awhile with a table he apparently knew then walked right by as I tried to flag him to get our bill. We finally stood up and go our coats on figuring we’d have someone up front track down our bill) and another server tracked down our check. Disappointing from a restaurant we typically love.

   Consistently good food and service. My fabulous cook husband said it was the best salmon he has ever had. We love Ocean Prime! Wait staff are incredible.

   Bartender would not pay attention. She was in a one-on-one conversation for 30 minutes, refused to clean the bar with leftover food and drinks and would not serve. Had to walk around to put orders in.
