   Some haters will keep hating any high-end additions to SRQ but we welcome them! Second story bar is a gem, opening up to west-facing sunsets. Custom cocktails were extraordinary. The Ocean Roll we chose as an app exceeding already high expectations, as did my grouper with gnocchi. Brought our own wine with the reasonable $25 corkage. Overall, exceptional!

   We had a lovely dinner for my husband’s 70th birthday. We had a waiter that when I told him my husband didn’t like his lobster. He ignored it. Made me a little upset because he didn’t eat his food and it was his birthday.. Brent was very nice however not aware of someone not eating there food is not very good. Love love the restaurant.

   Our server, Austin was outstanding; knowledgeable of menu, very personable, polite and enthusiastic. Additional wait-staff polite and efficient. Food was delicious. Like our experiences in Tampa, Ocean Prime in Sarasota did not disappoint!

   very good food and excellent service. Very pricey wine if ordering by the glass. Extremely noisey. Very hard to have a conversation without raising your voice.

   This newly opened restaurant is a winner. Food is great. Well prepared and presented. They were slammed (peak of season) so service was a little slow but we didn’t mind. Service was friendly and very accomodating. . We will return.

   Celebrated two birthdays. Had special branzino, sea bass, tuna, caesar salad, and crab cake. All delicious. Christy was a great waitress.

    Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the area. The steaks are perfectly prepared, the fish was fresh and delicious. The bread dish assortment was as fresh as it could be. Appetizers were great. Loved the calamari. Their wine list is extensive and bar drinks were creative and most enjoyable. Don't miss dessert. The carrot cake, and the chocolate peanut butter cake were over the top. Service was professional, warm and friendly. Server Maria made our entire dining experience first class. Summary: great restaurant in every way but as you would expect, not inexpensive. But, worth it!
