    This is my 3rd time going to the Sunday brunch but it has been a couple of years since last time and it is not what it once was. Food was ok, not amazing like it was, less options , duck was overcooked and chewy, beef was ok , there used to be more meat options, dim sum dumplings were all stuck together so when you tried to grabbed them they fell apart, sauces had no labels ,it was a guess what it was, smoke salmon was not fresh at all, that was my biggest disappointment, a simple smoked salmon tasted wrong. Dessert was ok, fresh fruit was not fresh, barely any cheese options. Overall it is ok but not for that price. Too bad as it was such an amazing brunch.

    We been coming yearly last 3 yrs, other than roast beef and salmon Wellington the rest is sub standard , unfortunately this will be our last visit, for $200 for 3 people I could have got better value for my $ elsewhere ! Server was not polite when it came time to pay ( expecting more tips !) Been in hospitality industries the last 30 yrs, thanks for the memories 😞

    I has been since covid we didn’t visited ocean 999 We used to go there all time ,we try today brunch buffet was good selection of food but was too crowded and long line up to get your food Food taste way better before look like quality of ingredients not like before ,lots pork items I do not eat ,I will go back but I prefer more quiet restaurants like notch 8 brunch less selection but food taste better Our server was excellent i forgot her thank you

    Great meal and place to share with family! There were too many tables for the space but given the day being New Year’s Day, it was acceptable!

    The food was good. Lots of variety. I really liked the lobster benny & the melt in your mouth roast beef. Service was lacking though. 18% gratuities was automatically added to the bill for a party of 2. I fetched our water at the bar twice. Had to snag a server from a different section to order drinks. She relayed our drinks order to another server and then that server relayed it to yet another server. I can see our drinks sitting at the bar for a very very long time. Was tempted to go get them myself. Then the server from the different section noticed & mentioned it to the other server & we finally got our drinks. I think it was at the 1.25-1.5 hour mark before there was a server for the section we sat in. Not sure if they were just under staffed for all the tables they set up or other reasons. Our family & friends have been going to the Pan Pacific Hotel for buffets dinners & brunches for over 25 years, but I think we may look for other options next time.

    I think this year the food quantity was less than..the quality was good as always ..but like I said before the variety was less and also the lettuce table looked less desirable.. Good food but less choices..
