   Good food but not great food. Sushi was good. Teriyaki chicken way too sweet. My Ramen wasn’t poorly seasoned and a bit bland but that’s my tastebuds- maybe others would like the mild taste.

   We made reservations for the Christmas pre-fix dinner. Overall experience was beyond disappointing. Specifically, - Rude hostess - Rushed experience - Very bad food; expensive food (£80 per person without beverages and desserts) that essentially felt as if it was frozen food from grocery store re-heated and put on the table Definitely on my list to not visit this restaurant ever again! I say this despite the fact that I love Japanese restaurants and have experienced some of the best ones (small and big) restaurants across multiple cities around the world. Save yourself, don’t venture here!

   There was no mention of a price fixed menu when we made the reservation for Christmas night more than a month earlier. When we got to the restaurant, we were informed of a set menu with a fee to cancel or forced to comply with a menu that needed to be greatly altered to avoid food allergies. We should have gotten direct notification of a change in menu from the restaurant prior to arrival.

   Dear Ilene, Thank you for your feedback but we want to clarify that this information was stated when making reservation and agreement to T&C was required to complete the reservation: Celebrate Christmas Day with us for £80 per person. Enjoy a festive menu with a mix of sharing starters like gyoza, karaage, sushi, and more, followed by your choice of mains, including ramen, noodles or teriyaki dishes. The à la carte menu will not be available. In fact, many people who saw the notice contacted us to confirm if only set menu would be available on the day , demonstrating that the information was visible. We regret any disappointment and appreciate your understanding that completing the booking meant agreeing to these terms. We hope this clarifies things and that we can welcome you back.

   We made a reservation for 8:30 PM on Christmas Eve. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a “Closed” sign on the door. Despite this, we went inside, knowing we had a reservation. As soon as we entered, we were rushed and told we needed to order all of our food at once because the kitchen was closing soon. Because of this, we had to place our entire order upfront, including drinks. Unfortunately, this meant we couldn’t order anything else, even additional drinks, later on. The appetizers we received were really good, but the spicy seafood ramen was disappointing. While it had plenty of seafood, it wasn’t very spicy and didn’t live up to our expectations. The staff seemed very friendly, but the rushed experience detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. If there are restrictions on ordering or if the kitchen closes early, it would be better if the restaurant didn’t accept reservations as late as 8:30 PM. Overall, some of the food was good, and the atmosphere was okay. However, we probably wouldn’t return anytime soon.

Normally, we are open until 11pm, but as an exception that day, we were forced to close earlier due to public transport limitations, and all staff needed to leave early.    Excellent Japanese food, fairly reasonable for the location (heart of London - China Town) and great service. Glad I chose this restaurant. Will be back soon 🙂

   It was a lovely meal. Had dumplings, sushi and ramen. Was tasty. Service a little rushed. Good atmosphere if a little cramped.

   The restaurant has a nice ambience, the food was pretty average. We found some bones in the chicken teriyaki and the pork ramen was just average. What was disappointing was being told when we arrived that we could only have 1.5 hours on the table - the norm is usually 2 hours. We noted there were a number of empty tables on the 1st floor. The bill including £126 service charge.
