OK Omens is a wine focused restaurant with an emphasis on both natural wines and integrity driven classics. Opened by 5x James Beard Nominated Chef Justin Woodward and 'Food & Wine Magazine' Sommelier of the Year Brent Braun, we offer a seasonal eclectic dinner menu designed to compliment our playful, progressive wine program.

We are currently offering reservations for our dining room. Our bar seats are available for walk ins every night. Check Instagram for updates :)

    This winter, every Sunday & Monday, Machete will be taking over the kitchen at Ok Omens! They'll be serving their authentic México City street food while Ok Omens will make sure the wine and cocktails are flowing. The menu is a la carte and reservations are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.     Multiple dates available
    Secure your seats for our famous 1$ Oyster happy hour, Tue-Sat from 5 to 6 pm. We’re talking 1$ oysters, price cuts on snacks, $9 glasses of wine, Happy Hour Cocktails and 25% the *entire* Riesling bottle list (Portland’s deepest.) The dining room and Patio can fill up fast, and reservations are strongly encouraged! Our full dinner menu is available during happy hour.

    Multiple dates available
    Wednesday are for Fried Chicken! We offer it as both an appetizer and as part of our beloved Fried Chicken Torito Salad. Our chicken is boneless, gluten free and dusted with green Szechuan peppercorn. Only available on Wednesdays!

    We went for the Machetes popup, everything we ordered was so delicious. The service is always great the ambiance is perfect, great date night/dinner spot. 10/10 recommend checking out the Machetes popup. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

    Our server was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable - helping us pick out perfect wines pairings from their extensive list and offering lots of helpful info about the food as well. Everything was delicious and the dining room was warm and cozy. Loved it.

    We tried OK OMEN kind of serendipitously and were totally surprised enchanted. There are combinations of flavors that are seemingly odd but it all works together. Staff were gracious and helpful .

    Delicious combination of unusual flavors in every dish. With each bite, you can tell the chef is a master at his craft. Reasonable prices for the quality of the food.

    We enjoyed a memorable evening at OK Omens last night. I started with the Fall Salad of Apples & Pears which had the most wonderful flavors. My husband's Torito Salad was also amazing. I had the Halibut for my main course, which was perfect. My husband's Pastitio was incredible. Our friends with us also enjoyed their meals. Our server was delightful. She was very detail-oriented & we were never without whatever we needed. I can't say enough positive things about our dining experience at OK Omens. We look forward to going back again soon!

    The service was great! Unfortunately, I have to give the value for the food a low mark. My $35 steak was disappointing. The steak was juicy but it wasn’t very tender. There was cartilage running through it making it hard to cut and chew. My husband’s pasta dish was good but still pricey. He did, however, give the oysters a high mark. At $1 an oyster off the early bird menu they were the exception, being high value for the price!

    Went for Machette’s winter residential stay at OK Omens. Food was delicious. Wine was wonderful. Good ambience. Friendly staff. Enjoyable place for a date night or out with friends.
