The Old Post Office is a friendly venue offering delicious food, great drinks and unforgettable experiences.

Due to current safe distancing guidelines, we are unable to allow dogs to be on the premises for the time being. We will be reviewing this decision on a regular basis and hope to be dog friendly again soon!

Come and visit us for any occasion including lunch/dinner visits, Birthdays and all other special occasions.

We came from Northamptonshire, Withernsea Nottingham and Hull to celebrate 2 Big birthdays. We were not dissapoointed. Food was great pub was clean and staff could not do enough for us

On arrival, noticed scruffy unkempt outside area. Tables not cleared ,empty glasses everywhere. Notice pinned up at entrance stating kitchen closed due to unforseen circumstances. Fair enough, Then we are told that its a kitchen fan problem and we can order food. Found a table furthest from noisy bar area with several tv's also contributing to noise and started to peruse menu. Shifty looking men approached table and asked my Grandaughter for identification. My son explained she was 15 and didn't carry id. We were then informed that nobody under 18 allowed inside after 7pm. We are used to eating out together as a family in pubs, restaurants cafes etc. This first experience was a total shambles and definitely never to be repeated.
