   Everything was great including food. One thing I really liked is it was quiet with space and room to talk. So many restaurants are very loud and hectic

   We have not been to Old Vinings Inn in quite a while. In the past one of our favorites. Our evening was fantasik. Our server Johnathan perfect pacing and great job. Appetizers, food, cocktails all top notch. Fun relaxing evening. Love the fireplace going upfront. We will be going back.

   My spouse and I went there for a special lunch on a gorgeous Fall afternoon. We were here for my mother's funeral, so we wanted something calming, quiet, nice. They serve lunch only on Thursday and Friday, so the restaurant was very uncrowded. We were seated outside, and they very graciously turned up the heat to make it comfortable, turned down the music at our request, and were attentive in just the right ways. What a beautiful place - and terrific food (shrimp & grits) with a perfectly paired wine (Trivento white Malbec, of all things) recommended at our asking by the waiter. Perfect!

   Outstanding food with an exceptional level of service. Servers’ timing was perfect. Rick at the upstairs attic bar is a one man comedy act. Overall an exceptional experience.

   We went as a group of 4 for brunch. The fried green tomatoes had one good one and two over fried. Candied bacon was ok. The fried chicken and grits were ok, at least the chicken part. I'm guessing the grits would have been good if the plate would have come out when it should have, My wife liked the eggs benedict. The service was terrible once the order was taken. The restaurant wasn't full either. We all managed 2 refills on the drinks. Guy brought out the check without even asking if we wanted that 2nd refill or dessert. We did order a dessert that ultimately someone brought out and also had to bring that second refill, more plates and silverware. I was really disappointed considering it was my wife's birthday. I also mentioned that in the reservation and at the desk when we came in. ZERO acknowledgement, nothing other than the disappointing service.

   Thank you for dining with us, David. We are sorry our food and service was unsatisfactory and that we missed your wife's birthday. I have shared this information with our staff to improve our execution. We appreciate when our guests let us know about any issues while dining with us so that we have an opportunity to make it right. Our manager and server checked on your party numerous times during and after your meal. Since no issues were mentioned when we asked, nothing was sent back, and plates were finished when we cleared them, we did not realize you were unhappy. That is unfortunate and I am sorry if we missed something. Please accept my personal invitation to return and let me know when you do so I can be sure your next experience is perfect.     Stacy was the best …. Stopped by table just enough to keep the glasses filled!!! I would suggest to visit on the the nights she is waiting
