   Not our first time. But unfortunately our last. Booked a table online using their app. 7 of us and in the email we were told we had 3 hours. We had a nicer table than the last time. Went to order our dessert and we were told we had to move table as we had been there for a hour and 45 mins. Showed them the email but they were saying their app said 2 hours. We were waiting in between starter/main course/dessert for a longer than normal period, which we didn’t mind as we were quite relaxed. Unfortunately that didn’t last long. We went elsewhere for our desserts and drinks. We had planned in bringing other family members but after today we won’t be back

   We were greeted front of house by an unsmiling gentleman who handed us over to a colleague who showed us to our table upstairs. There were 5 in our party. Three opted for fish and chips with pea puree and tartar sauce(19 euro) and 2 for the featherblade of beef (24 euro) with mashed potato in a rich gravy. The mains were attractively presented and very tasty. 3 of us shared a very nice malbec (36 euro a bit expensive). Also the sirloin steak was beyond our budget as appears to be the case all over Ireland sadly. The serving staff were pleasant but could do with a bit more training and confidence. We think they may have forgotten to bring the dessert menu as we had to ask for it again after waiting about 20 minutes. We had a cheese cake , chocolate tort and Sundae all attractively presented and tasty. The total bill came to Eu 173. On leaving the restaurant the front of house guy was again a bit brusque and perhaps a bit rude. No thank you or acknowledgement. Perhaps he was having a bad day ! Woukd come back for the food but not the service.

   I met my friend for a lunch at 2 oclock. Place was busy and buzzing which put us both into weekend mood! Service was outstanding! Food was amazing , compliments to the chef! Everything was spot on! I do recommend it ! Beautiful!

   Food was delicious but the beef was served Luke warm at best. Disappointing. Plates hot etc and the flavour was there.

    Booking via OpenTable only allowed us to select - on the hour or half an hour. To which we selected 20:30, my own mistake for not double checking but then booked us for 20:45 even though I requested 20:30. 15 minute window, nothing major. Food was phenomenal! Could not fault the food. The venue - phenomenal , ambience was great, atmosphere was lively - was solid!
