   Food tasted good but very small portions for the price you pay. Also discretionary 20% added to the bill, which is higher than the usual for UK restaurants and fely very presumptuous - this is not the USA.

   Food was OK, but think that £22 for 5 chunks of chicken and some scraps of flat bread is a bit much. People will pay it as its captive audience due to the location. Was a fine meal, but I probably wouldn’t go back.

   Poor service. Drinks orders took an eternity and some were not put through. But still charged for! Staff were trying their best but under pressure Food was quite good but very small portion sizes for the price. You’re paying for the central location I guess

   scoring 3/5 due to our main waitress being rude. Our children’s meals were great but my main meal and my wife’s came out luke warm and both our side rice dishes were stone cold. We asked if we could send back and felt like we were apologising to the waitress. She returned 5 minutes later threw the plates down with no smile or apology and didn’t come back to the table afterwards and left the remainder of our service to another helpful team member. This was a real shame.

   Truly poor food, strange eclectic menu that doesn’t work at all. Spaghetti with prawns and crab that turned out to be pappardelle with tinned crab meat and not a prawn in sight!! Service was efficient but lacking in any charm. Zero ambience. So many better options in central London but we were forced into trying this out of necessity due to being the Saturday after Xmas. Avoid at all costs.

   Unprofessional and Unpleasant Experience We had made a reservation at Olea for Christmas Day, but unfortunately, the experience was so unpleasant that we ended up leaving. Upon arrival, the receptionist was incredibly rude and unprofessional. We were initially seated at a table right by the entrance, so my husband politely asked if there was another option. Instead of accommodating us, the staff led us to a dimly lit corner table with a broken lightbulb and tossed the menus onto the table without a word. The receptionist’s attitude and expression were so off-putting that we decided to leave immediately. Thankfully, we found another steakhouse nearby where the staff were warm and welcoming, allowing us to enjoy a wonderful Christmas dinner. Looking back, I’m actually grateful to Olea for the poor service—it led us to an even better experience elsewhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.

   We booked a table for Christmas day lunch ... might as well have eaten at a kebab shop. The food was nothing inspiring for the price charged per person.

    We didn’t know what to expect given it was lunch on Christmas Day. The restaurant was one of the few that was open and we had in our reservation. Was a three course menu I thought each of us could choose an appetizer entrée and dessert, but all of the appetizers were available for the entire table. What a treat. Their falafel was the best I’ve ever had. So full of flavor. I had the lamb shank that was literally falling off the bone. I had a bite of the steak and chicken and they did not disappoint. I would recommend this restaurant not only for the food with the service. They were very attentive and accommodating.
