   Extremely expensive. Nearly $90 for a very over cooked piece of steak, fish was similar. Won’t go back, won’t recommend. A real shame as a lovely setting.

   A disappointing New Year’s Eve - yes I know it’s a busy night for all hospitality, the difference in atmosphere across the two floors couldn’t have been more evident. The website and Instagram boasts a relaxed Mediterranean vibe but unfortunately this seems to apply to the downstairs courtyard area only. We felt shoved upstairs despite having a booked table to what was a busy thoroughfare for the staff who constantly had to edge past us sideways, with food and drink being lifted and carried above your head. A disaster waiting to happen. There were at least 3 tables too many upstairs at all angles which meant a fairly stressful evening, no relaxed, chilled atmosphere here. The servers had no idea which table number was which, presumably due to a combination of so much moving around of tables and in sufficiently trained Christmas staff. The food we ate was nice - bruschetta and arancini, followed by a pizza and pasta however the whole evening felt extremely rushed due to being told we had the table for 1.5 hours (our booking was 9pm) and our order wasn’t taken until 9:25. For dessert we ordered chocolate mousse which could only be described as Angel Delight (UK-centric people will know…) Toilet was shoved under a staircase next to the hatch where dirty plates are collected. The disabled toilet was within the women’s bathroom which I’m sure wasn’t a comfortable experience for the male who needed to use the toilet while there was a queue of women waiting. As we were leaving via the front courtyard, the customers appeared to be having a completely different experience to us. If you are considering dining at Olive and Angelo, please request to be sat downstairs, and if this isn’t possible, I’d try somewhere else. All in all, we were lured in by the family, local feel of the Instagram but the reality was quite the opposite.

   Friendly staff, ambiance was lovely and the food was delicious. They were a little rushed and it appeared food came out wrong for tables around us - but it was New Years Eve and they were really busy! We’d recommend it!

   Our first time at this restaurant and it was such an amazing experience. The service, food, wine and ambience were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend as a great Italian cuisine restaurant.

   Food lacked seasoning and focaccia bread was a pizza and the dough was not cooked $40 for 2 pieces of cheese and a few slices of cold meat was not good value for money Kids pasta was overcooked and had no cheese Seafood pasta was cold and lacked seasoning

   Staff were rally friendly and attentive, food was excellent - note of caution, the calzone is huge, but really tasty.

   Amazing food and service. The menu has a very diverse selection of quality options. The food is cooked to perfection and it’s hard to say one bad thing about this place. The restaurant caters for all dietary options and the wine is top notch. It is very accomodating for families and larger sittings. We will be back for sure. Tom

    Very busy but food was excellent and we were given free drinks of our choosing to make up for the slow service
