Staff were extremely friendly, and the vibe was very luxe, standing out amongst local places. The filet mignon was cut up like a cheaper cut of meat and not the temperature we asked for. Also, the chocolate cake didn’t have much flavor.

overall nice experience except restaurant is in the LOBBY? cold breeze every time someone entered the hotel. need to erect glass enclosure to ensure more comfortable environment in restaurant. this was a hotel design flaw. would go back in winter for that reason

Very nice ambiance. Some of the food portions are a bit small. This restaurant is trying to achieve that Michelin Star style of dining. We had the sea diver scallops which were delicious, however they do not include much for sides, they should have an ala carte option to add more sides. The foie gras appetizer was okay but a little disappointing, the chef made the foie gras into such a light and airy mousse, that it was actually a very small amount. My husband and I could not taste the rich savory flavor of the foie gras. We prefer foie gras more dense. The desserts were delicious, and generous in size. Expect to spend atleast $250+ per couple.

I had high hopes for Olivet in Swiftwater, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. The menu was extremely limited, with selections that felt both overpriced and out of place—goose liver pâté (foie gras) in the Poconos, really? After scanning the challenging menu multiple times, we finally made our selections, only to be told they were out of two of our choices, so SOL. The bar was decent, but the view of the tiny, chaotic kitchen was off-putting. It’s hard to believe any food is actually prepared on-site given the kitchen's size. While I appreciate the effort to bring an elevated dining experience to the mountains, the execution falls flat. A small menu is fine, but it should be well-curated and fairly priced. Instead, the options felt pretentious, and the price point didn’t align with the experience. I suggest a more thoughtful selection of dishes and pricing that reflects the actual value, rather than making patrons feel like they’re covering the venue’s sunk excavation costs. Until then, I won’t be returning

Very unorganized and disappointing considering we paid 165 per person for a four course Valentines Day dinner. They forgot our drinks and our order and then the servings came out out of order. So when they took back the servings they did not reheat them. On top of that they charged an automatic 22% tip. I think the food had good taste and the presentation was very nice. I just could not believe the service, or lack thereof.

We did not eat. We dressed for a night out to celebrate our love. When I made the reservations Swiftwater NEVER explained the menu would be one of those specialty course meals for x # of dollars per.... When we were seated, on top of another couple (tables mearly feet apart) was the first we discovered we were going to be served a prepared 4 course meal (most of which we would never had ordered) for the price of 165 per, sorry we're locals, not north Jesey or NY transplant tourists.... That's when we stood up, put on our coates and went for hoagies, then home. We won't be back, mainly because of seating. Check it out on line, your right on top of each other. Good luck with private conversation.

Went for Valentine’s Dinner, reserved two weeks ahead and no one told us it was prefixed and $165 a person. Felt like a sneaky way to scam people, especially when they call us to confirm but don’t mention it and force you to stay or they’ll charge $160 if you no show. Drinks were extremely overpriced, a $21 cocktail and they use bottom shelf liquor?! Four roses for their bourbon in a $21 cocktail. Way overpriced, and will never go back.

We went for dinner on Valentine’s Day. Food, service and ambiance were outstanding. Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately we were not informed of a price fixed menu of $165 per person plus gratuity. This was extremely expensive with no other options. This was not advertised on the website nor did the person calling me to confirm the reservation let me know.
