Chef Keisuke Harada was lured to Puerto Escondido from Kyoto Japan to set up Kakurega Omakase, where he carefully executes the finest ingredients into an extraordinary work of art in front of visitors. Immersed in the Oaxacan jungle and next to Hotel Escondido, Kakurega Omakase features a simple, elegant design where nature and food collide.

    Le faltó muchísima energía y servicio al equipo, se notaban hasta artos… Un Omakase requiere de una linda y cálida explicación así como de un servicio especial.

    Food was fantastic. Drinks were really nice. Loved the saké, however would have loved to have see more locally produced, preferably low intervention/ natural local wine. Setting was very unique. Service was great. Only piece of major feedback would be to improve the music. My partner and I were shocked to hear such a seemingly unthought through, basic, and random playlist whilst eating such a beautifully curated, elevated menu in such an elegant setting. For us it really cheapened the whole evening and felt totally dissonant and incongruous with this outstanding culinary experience in the middle of a stunning remote location.
