** Our restaurants are generally not the best environment for young children. We welcome families, but we ask parents to keep children at the table and calm vocal infants or youngsters outside of the dining room. We do not allow strollers in the dining room, however we do offer child seating in our "Lounge Area".

    Some of the food was good. My appetizer scallop was very good. The duck and veal were very good. My lamb chops were the worst i ever had. Very fatty and not much meet to eat and veggies were under cooked. Could just be New Years eve though as other times the food has been excellent. The ambience was fun. Glad to be out for New Years. The DJ was awful. I would have preferred a better mix of music to actually dance to rather than watch folks jump up and down. DJ told me that's what folks like. Really? I like it when you have live music at the Cest la Vie lounge.

    It was new years eve and the restaurant was very busy. Our waitress was overwhelmed. She had many tables from one end of dining room to the other. The entire process was very slow. My entree was luke warm. The bar order took forever. We ordered oysters and they were about 1/4 inch big. Never saw such teeny tiny oysters

    I had left a note in the Open Table that we should have a candle in the dessert for my wife's birthday celebration and it did not happen although as we left we saw a sparkling candle at another couple's table for a birthday. Gratuity was automatically charged for a bill for 2 along with a 3% charge for using a credit card. My wife's filet mignon was under cooked and red for medium rare and after being returned and cooked longer a manager hovered intimidatingly by our table with no apology until my wife cut it and said it was OK. The lobster bisque was served with a slight skin on it because it sat too long in the kitchen. Service for each course was slow. All and all, an overpriced New Year's Eve and a disappointment. The food and drink tasted good but it wasn't worth the cost and disappointing atmosphere.

    Beautiful bar and fantastic servers! Josh answered all our questions about the spa and hotel and other amenities, he was so welcoming and informative. Food was amazing! We will be back for sure.

    This was our second try at a David Burke restaurant, the other was 1776 in Morristown, and both experiences were exactly the same. The design and atmosphere are great, the service impeccable but the food is simply mediocre. 2 of the 4 main courses were over cooked and dry while the other 2 were underwhelming. There will not be a 3rd time.

    Wife and I had a very nice dinner experience. Our server knew the menu in detail and made some excellent recommendations what we found to be spot on. The food was delicious and nicely plated. We had beet salad, cheese poppers, shrimp & scallops, filet mignon and a fabulous apple tart. Had a lovely view of the lighted trees outside.
