We welcome families, but we ask parents to keep children at the table and calm vocal infants or youngsters outside of the dining room.     Overall, a bit of a disappointing night... The Bad: - The restaurant’s specialty is meat, but the kitchen struggled with a simple "medium well-done" order. The first attempt was incorrect and took a long time to redo, only for the second attempt to come back charred on the outside and undercooked inside. By then, I had to give up as the rest of the table had already finished eating, and the kids were getting restless. - The atmosphere felt flat and empty, though to be fair, it was a snowy evening. - Discrepancy in pricing - server brought us second bottle of sparkling water without asking and changed us for 3. Only noticed when we got home. - Ordered a single espresso but was charged for a double. When questioned, the response was simply, "We only do doubles." Not ideal. The Good: - The manager did her best to address the issue with the meat, offering alternative options. While it was too late for me to eat, she didn’t charge for my dish and even provided a complimentary dessert. - The restaurant added a nice touch with a celebratory firework for the birthday we were celebrating. - The building itself is lovely, and the ambiance is typically better than what we experienced. Overall: For a restaurant that charges $100+ per head and prides itself on being a meat specialist, the experience needs to be flawless, particularly when it comes to cooking meat properly. Unfortunately, this visit fell short.

    Our server was wonderful and attentive. Knew the menu and advised us on wine and food choices. The food was plentiful portions and well made.

    Matty was attentive, funny, kind and completely on point. We did not get the maitre d’s name but he was gracious as well! We decided to end the night at the bar and Josh and Jack (I think) were the absolute BOMB. The piece de reasistence Was. The. FOOD! For the table, oysters, lobster r dumplings, hot mess fries and calamari - omg, phenomenal. Brisket on the fries was a bit dull but still good. Then we individually had Filet Mignon & lobster, porter and lobster (not good, traded up for the filet) shrimp and scallops and salmon. We will be back once we recoup on the market what we spent last night but overall would do it again and again. Loved 🥂

    Excellent meal! Server was great. Manager checked in with us to ensure meal was good. Caesar salad, popovers, Mac and cheese were all delicious. The hot mess fries (fries topped with truffle aioli and beef brisket) were outstanding. Our steaks were perfectly cooked. An incredible dining experience.
