Celebrating our 50th year, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar, and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

    We went for the sunset menu and I had the French dip sandwich, while my husband had the ribs, which were excellent. The service was great, although it's a bit pricey, but the salad bar is the best part.

    The atmosphere was rustic & fun, staff & service was great, but food was not good. Best thing was the salad bar. $52 steak was unseasoned, bland & tough. Would not recommend going here if looking for a good steak.

    As always the waiter was very attentive and professional. Our table and environment was very pleasant. We wanted to order lobster with our meal, so I asked the waiter if it was fresh and he said it was flown in every other day. . . So yes, it was fresh. Well, it was NOT. Very disappointing and very expensive.

    Service was excellent. Love the salad bar. Rib we’re not fall off bone tender…tough & hard to eat. Chicken breast was not as tender as previously.

    As always the Ore House delivers exceptional meals including an array of locally sourced entrees, delicious breads, and a fresh salad bar complete with chilled salad plates. The steak was absolute perfection! Whomever does the hiring deserves kudos as we’ve always had wonderfully attentive servers as well. Today was no exception, thanks to Adam. Highly recommend.

    Wonderful old school experience every time. Salad bar is amazing and part of the meal. Prime Rib, Bison Ribeye’s were perfect. Wonderful team making it great. Try the broccoli….. With the loaded spud :)
