Located in the heart of Toronto's stylish fashion district, Oretta offers a distinct variety of private dining spaces designed to make you feel at home. Our mezzanine floor has two feature rooms; L'attico and Sorrgiorno, which can be used independently or as a whole dependant on your event needs. Our presentation kitchen on a 15 foot long marble top island is the most versatile component of the L'attico private dining space, offering space for a satellite bar or cooking demonstration from one of our Chef's. The Sorrgiorno provides an intimate dining experience with views overlooking the vaulted ceilings of the main dining room.

The only complaint I had was that while making the reservation, it asked if we were celebrating and I said a Birthday. We even mentioned it to my server. NO one said or did anything the entire time we were in the restaurant. Why bother asking in the booking window, if you don’t acknowledge it? Other than that, food was outstanding!

We came on a Friday night for dinner and we’re able to use the happy hour menu. The food was good and the service was OK. The ambiance was incredible, a really nice place to be.

We made a reservation for a Sunday dinner and our table was ready upon our arrival. The restaurant is beautiful and bar in the middle of the restaurant is a positive addition to their great vibes. The staff are friendly, but sometimes it’s hard to get their attention which makes the service a bit slow. We ordered “Fritto Di Calamari”, “Burrata” and “Crudo Di Ricciola” to share. We really loved our choice of appetizers; perfect seasoning and fresh ingredients. For main, we shared “Polpo e Patate” (half grilled octopus), which was perfectly cooked to our liking. And we finished our meal with a delicious “Tiramisu”.

When to celebrate a birthday for someone and was blown away by the service and quality of the food, since she hasn't had authentic Italian she enjoyed herself and the tableside cacio e pepe was amazing to see

The food didn’t have much flavour and it was cold. However our server was very nice and was working very hard to turn around our experience. Unfortunately it’s just worth the drive downtown I think there are much better restaurants with the same level of service with expectational food without having to battle downtown traffic. Aesthetically the restaurant looks very nice and I can understand why it’s popular on TikTok, but the food does not live up to the appearance of the restaurant.
