   Service was sub par. Server was very nice but we lost her a couple times. Drinks took forever. Street Elote corn is way over priced and do not recommend. Tomahawk steak was delicious as well as the mashed potatoes. Guacamole is also very good. We asked for more tostadas, server brings us 3… there is 4 of us, why bring 3 when there is 4 of us. I would also look at serving something else with the guacamole. I will come back but it will be awhile so you can work more details.

   Food was bad, my sister and I had to send our food back 3 times each. Overpriced for the quality we finally got, my goodness. it really wasn’t worth the hype it got on TikTok. Yeah not the best place to spend your time and money

   It’s as amazing inside as the pictures make it look. We had the chick plate which was delicious.

   I had the pleasure of dining at Origen recently, and I just have to share how incredible my server, Julianna, was. From the moment we were seated, she greeted us with a warm, genuine smile that set the tone for the entire evening. Julianna was incredibly attentive throughout the meal, always checking in at the right moments without ever being intrusive. She had a great knowledge of the menu, making excellent recommendations, and was happy to answer all our questions. What really stood out was her professionalism combined with a friendly, relaxed demeanor. She made sure our drinks were never empty, anticipated our needs, and even offered us some thoughtful suggestions for dessert—everything she suggested was spot on! It’s rare to find a server who makes you feel so well taken care of while still keeping the experience light and enjoyable, but Julianna did just that. It’s not often that a server leaves such a positive impression, but Julianna truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience exceptional. If you visit Origen, be sure to ask for her—you won’t be disappointed!

   We love Oregen so much. Valentine’s Day was our second time. It’s such a hip and cool vibe and the food is so delicious. Everything is prepared and plated beautifully and jam packed with flavor. They play great music but it might be just a tad loud. But not bad. We had a great experience on Valentine’s Day and loved everything we ordered. My only suggestion would be to offer a few more fruity cocktails. Unfortunately our service was not great. Not horrible but not great. Our server was nice but talked way too much and a bit hyper. We ordered the queso but they brought us guacamole. We told them and they took it away. 15 min later our server arrived with the guacamole. We told her and she looked at her order and said oh no you’re right. By that time we were hungry and said we’d keep it. She didn’t say I can get the queso? She just said oh ok well you’re going to love it. Also, my husband ordered the pichana tacos which were so unbelievable and yummy but one had a piece of steak that was just grizzle. Totally inedible. We mentioned it and she just said oh no, well sometimes that happens. She definitely needs to be more trained on appropriate and inappropriate responses. We were a bit surprised that they weren’t offering their complementary bean dip and she just said oh yeah it’s Valentine’s Day so we’re just too busy. Regardless of the subpar service, we still love Origen and will most definitely be back. Can’t wait!

   Everything was perfect! From the decor, to the music, the service, the food and the ambiance. Our server was on point. I’m celiac so she made every effort to make sure items we ordered were prepared celiac safe. She went above and beyond and answered all our questions. Everything we ordered was delicious. We never felt rushed even though it was Valentine’s Day. We will definitely be back and look forward to our next visit.

   This was our first time going and it was Valentines Day. The restaurant was cute and all staff was extremely friendly. Our server was super nice and very informative. The food was great. If I had to nit pick, it would just be that the music was too loud. Was hard to hear each other talk. We would definitely come again.

   Yet another visit that didn’t disappoint. Food and service was fantastic. Our server Jason was on top of everything. Definitely one of our go to restaurants.

   The food is excellent. However for the price, this should be a much better experience. I had reservations, and yet still was sat in back dining room and told a “bar back” would be our serve and he would see how it goes? Not well……He then was busy at bar for 20 minutes and never got the appetizers or drinks we ordered. Finally requested an actual server who was fantastic but you should not have to ask for service when the price you are paying should include. Second, very tacky having a bathroom that the door literally opens to the toilet off the dining room with tables surrounding it. Needs a remodel and would close this bathroom to public. Grossed me out!

    First time dining there last night. The decor is very unique and the staff is very accommodating. We needed a quieter (if possible) place to sit as my husband is hard of hearing. They put us in the lovely wine room which has a table for four and yes, is filled with bottles of wine. You can keep the door closed which helped with the loud music for awhile, although as the night went on, even that room got noisy. We dine out often and it's beyond me why restaurants (not bars) feel the need to blast the music, making conversation difficult. It's all too common. Our server, Christian, was quite nice and knew the menu well. We started with cocktails which were pricey at around $16-$19 each. With all the ice in mine, it took 3 sips to finish. Christian recommended the guacamole and to add the steak. There were four of us so we took his advice. Blah. It was quite bland, even the added steak didn't help. I cannot recommend it. For entrees, three of us got the Picanha steak tacos which came with bone marrow. It's a knife and fork meal - no way to pick these up as the tortillas fell apart. Tasty, but not amazing. The fourth person got the barbacoa which he pronounced average. Wines are quite marked up, but that's not unusual in higher end places. We had the Cajeta molten lava cake for dessert. It was average. They don't offer brewed coffee, just Americanos, espressos, etc. To finish, it's an average restaurant. For the price and taste, I wouldn't go back. We did not sample the pricey steaks, so can't comment on those.
