   I was originally really excited to try this restaurant because of the uniqueness of Michael Mina’s concept of fine dining Mediterranean food. While the food was okay and tasted fine, it wasn’t that impressive especially for the cost. But the real disappointment was the service. A rude interaction with the hostess was not the best first impression. But then it was followed by some of the worst service I’ve received at a fine dining establishment (little to no contact with us by our server as well as both our server and one of the restaurant’s manager seeming overwhelmed and didn’t seem like either wanted to be there.) The only saving grace for the service presented to us was the wonderful support staff (food runner and busser), they were both wonderfully attentive and seemed thrilled to tell us about the food they were dropping off. Overall, I would not return and would definitely not recommend to others.

   Nice bar to wait at whilst awaiting seating Mandalay bay one of the poorer hotels and ambience outside restaurant not great . Food quality great especially surprise flambé starter and the steak was superb Pity it’s so off the beaten track at the end of the strip

   It’s understands when a restaurant is busy. But when a server won’t let you order starters while you’re deciding on entrees because you might “lost your place in line” and drinks cone when you’re almost done with dinner, it’s not a good experience. And when that experience comes with a $500 price tag, it’s not an incentive to come back.

   We were a group of six and everyone enjoyed their food! We were seated at a table at the back so we were away from the noise in the hotel our server was great and got us organized and out in time for our show. The only thing about the evening that wasn’t great was how smoky the hotel/restaurant was.

   This was a great experience. We ordered the HabibiQ which was delicious and provided an opportunity to try a variety of dishes we might otherwise not have ordered. There was a bit of a wait in serving the main course but overall a wonderful experience!

   Great food, meticulous attention to detail with the service, but check your bill… From being seated until leaving, I was impressed with the attention to detail that was paid with the service. I watched a server going around checking for wobbly tables and fixing them before people sat down. The managers are floating around helping the servers with any little task they need to ensure the customers are happy. Food was good, but I was going in really hoping for a kebab dish. I was slightly disappointed to see the only one was a massive, shareable one that was not made for one person. I “settled” on the branzino. It was delicious as well. When getting the bill, I noticed the prices charged were not the prices advertised on the menu for several things. The server and manager made this right immediately with no fuss, but for a place that had so much attention to detail, this oversight was disappointing.

    ORLA was amazing. We had the shared kebab and lambchops along with grilled octopus. Everything was delicious. Great services too!
