Danilo Orofino was born in Palermo, Sicily, where he studied the culinary arts as well as restaurant and hotel management. He opened his first restaurant/coffee bar in Sicily at the age of 18. After 4 years of hard work, he closed the place with dreams of doing even more with his life.

    Outstanding service and tase, Jack explained the different foods and helped us pronounce them as well😂 explaining where they came from, the taste, and provided us his opinions on drinks and food as well. The only downside was the ambience for me, very fancy food, menus, service, etc but it gave a cafe vibe. It may be what they’re looking to provide but other than that slight thing, it was all perfection for me and my girlfriend.

    Food was amazing. Just wish they would have done something for my boyfriend’s birthday. I clicked “birthday” under the special occasion question when I made the reservations. Also a little slow to get our drinks. But we’ll definitely be back!

    We love this place! Adam is our usual server and so hospitable. Awesome local restaurant with great ownership/ staff and super authentic, delicious food.

    If you want authentic Italian food in downtown Fredericksburg this is the place to go. Every month there is a different region that is highlighted for the specials and there are other specials every night as well. I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant...the food, the cocktails, appetizers, ambience...service you name it, it's fantastic. I do recommend getting a reservation if you can because they tend to get busy on the weekends. That's what happens when you're popular :-)
