   Fabulous lunch complete with freshly made soup, gnocchi and pistachio crusted salmon. This is a restaurant you can easily spend 1.5 hours and not realize the time has flown by. They treat you with a tapenade doused crustini to begin your meal. The service is personal and friendly and not at all snobbish. I love the relaxed atmosphere.

   I was born and raised in Italy. I have yet to find another place in California that brings me home like Osteria Fasulo. Flavours are truly authentic to the tradition with a modicum of innovation. I have been recommending this restaurants to friends that want to get a REAL taste of Italy for over 5 years now and I will continue to do so, what a gem! Highly recommend gnocchi with truffle if they have them, the parmigiano soufflé, and the pastas in general to be honest. Will be back again and again!

   We had a nice meal with our associates. One had the salad with fried goat cheese, the others had the potato soup. Two of had the salmon, one had the veal scallopini, one had the risotto. Everything was prepared to perfection. That being said, the main course portions were on the small size. There was a delay in the bread arriving at the table to eat with our first course. Also the indoor dining room is on the crowded side and so it felt stuffy. Overall it is one of the best restaurants, though pricey, in our area to go so we are overall happy.
