OSTRA, a signature restaurant of Peninsula Papagayo, is a culinary gem led by Michelin-trained Chef Bruno Alves. Experience an extraordinary menu evolution and savor elevated, modern Costa Rican flavors re-imagined and infused with the best locally sourced farm-to-table ingredients. Sip classic cocktails at the bar or terrace and celebrate the essence of coastal dining. Also, we now offer Perla, a restaurant within a restaurant at the sushi bar. This modern sushi experience serves only local fish and operates Tuesday-Friday based on product availability.

    Zeer gevarieerde kaart, met veel opties, ook vegetarisch. Prijzen per gerecht zijn redelijk. Beperkte wijnkaart met te hoge prijzen. Service is goed, als altijd beetje afhankelijk van de persoon. Wel vijf of zes verschillende mensen in de loop van de avond aan je tafel. ..

    My friend and I ordered the pastrami ramen and olla de carne ramen. The pastrami ramen was totally missing salt. By itself it has no flavor and I had to add a lot just to get taste. I don’t normally add salt to food, especially ramen. The olla de carne had a nice flavor but was VERY spicy. The waiter warned him AFTER he delivered the food. He still enjoyed it but it would have been nice to give a heads up prior since it wasn’t marked as spicy on the menu. The server was fine but pretty slow. Overpriced for what you get but they can charge what they want since there are limited options if you’re staying at Andaz and they know it.

    OSTRA OSTRA !!! You did not disappoint! From the breakfast buffet to the dinner ,martinis , perla the sushi restaurant!! The staff especially from Esteban to our coffee girl they deserve raises all accommodating and always best service. They recognize us as we were returning customers! Will definitely be back tey different menu options.

    great location ,the ambiance was lovely the grilled octopus was a bit tough and the gnocchi was overcooked the waitstaff were not intrusive
