Otherside Wine Bar is here to bring authenticity and soul to the community in Glen Cove and beyond. We focus on natural wines that express the places where they grow and the people who grow them.

Our menu is rooted in Mediterranean cooking with an emphasis on local ingredients, featuring finely-tuned small plates meant for sharing and larger portioned entrees and celebrated burgers for those seeking comfort food.

Located in the historic JH Coles Homestead, our dining room dates back to 1810—a perfect place to gather and celebrate our community over a meal.

The NT Designs team will be joining us at Otherside, where you can welcome spring with a chance to make your own seasonal bouquet. Bring old friends or make some new ones! Your ticket price will include all of the flowers, a vase to fill, as well as an array of snacks from Otherside Wine Bar. Wine and other beverages (including Southdown Coffee drinks) will be available to purchase a la carte. This event runs from 4pm to 6pm, with a limited number of tickets available.

Local jazz guitarist Frank Ferrara returns to our Fireplace Lounge on Saturday, March 29th at 6pm. Due to limited availability of table in the lounge, we are making those tables available for a small cover charge ($10 per person) when you book here. This event is otherwise free to attend. There will be standing room, as well as tables in our Main Dining Room available to book for free (the music will be audible, but the band members out of view). Simply select main dining room on the regular reservations page if you'd like that option.

My wife, son and I came to Otherside for my birthday dinner last night and it was fantastic! From the atmosphere to the excellent service by Kathy to the delicious wines and food from starters to entrees, we highly recommend a meal or celebration there. We’ll definitely be back for drinks at the bar or another great meal in the restaurant.

First time here and won’t be my last. Wonderful setting in a renovated historic home. Service was five star- our server Cathy was knowledgeable and attentive. Food fresh and homemade. We had arrincini balls that were the best we ever had. Huge burger and veggie burger, one with a delicious salad and the other well done, crispy fries. Organic wines and extensive beer menu. Can’t wait to return.

Otherside Wine Bar never disappoints and last night was no exception. The Valentine’s Day prix fixe and wine pairing was out of this world. Everything was delicious and paired perfectly. This little peace of magic in Glen Cove will give the other restaurants a run for their money between the exquisite food and carefully curated wines. Cannot wait to go back!

Expected bread with my dips! A bit disappointed with the choice of apps. All snacks off the menu. We couldn’t order the tagliatelle app because it was only available for the Valentines prix fixe menu which makes no sense. If I’m paying for it let me order it! Overall the burger saved the night but definitely won’t be back on a night where the prix fixe menu is offered. Felt like it was being pushed too hard even though the regular menu was offered as well.

The food is very over priced for what it is, asking nyc prices for Long Island food. New York City is actually cheaper at many restaurants with a higher level of service and quality. Glad to have them in the neighborhood but it feels like a price gouge.

Food was very tasty & servers were knowledgeable. Smaller portions so make sure to order enough. Nice atmosphere as well. Thought the wine list was not as extensive as I anticipated, with many NYS wines on the menu. I would have preferred more California fruit forward selections. Overall, good not great.
