   The food was great ! The seever was helpful and attentive. My only complaint was we had a late reservation and they rushed to clean up our table. We had food on the table and was not asked if we were done before it was picked up and dumped onto another tables plate. We were not done by the way.

   This restaurant is consistently terrific in service, food quality and ambiance. It is a winner, and one of our favorites in the desert. We highly recommend it .

   I went to Pacifica for the first time with a party of 5 based on a referral. Beautiful restaurant and we were seated overlooking El Paseo street. Ambience was nice and the heater were great as it was a little cool at times. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal and our beverages. My order which was a half order of the scallops and risotto was very disappointing. The amount size for $27 was looked like something you would give to a child, two very small grilled scallops, 4 tiny cherry tomatoes, and risotto, while tasty, looked like 1/2 cup of grits. I finished my meal in 1-2 mins and watched my family and friends dine for 20 mins. after some table discussion about my meal. My entire party was shocked about the portion size and thought it was an appetizer not the half portion of the $45 priced dinner. I then asked for the manager, Tracy, and she offered to take take it off the bill or bring me another order. She did agree with me that the scallops were small, but my point was that it was no way that that was a $27 meal. It was embarrassing. I did receive a complementary refill of my wine. When Tracy found out that my sister-in-law‘s was celebrating her birthday month, she sent out a complementary dessert. Tracy was a true professional and made a sour experience sweet. I will gladly return to Pacifica for dining. I gave 4 vice 5 stars because the waiter, while attentive at times, had to be reminded to bring bread/butter to the table.

   Very nice restaurant, reasonable prices. I love their clam chowder, had two bowls. that and a dinner salad were a full and satisfying meal. My wife had their scallops and polenta. Excellent. Atmosphere nice. The only drawback, they had lots of radiant heaters turned on, the heat was a bit overwhelming. If so much heat bothers you in the outside seating, request a table away from the heat. I'm sure they will accommodate, I will ask next time. Great Location in the Paseo shopping area of Palm Desert, chance to walk around the shops both before and after dinner. A wonderful evening.

   We visited on Thanksgiving day and had a lovely meal. My husband opted for the traditional turkey meal and I had the sea bass. Delicious!

   We went on Thanksgiving evening. Many comparable restaurants on OpenTable had a "Thanksgiving Special" and Pacifica did not. That's why we selected it. We did not want to spend $100 a person for the usual Thanksgiving stuff. We were shocked when we were handed the "Thanksgiving Special" menu and told we could not order anything off the regular menu. I could not even substitute ice cream in lieu of one of the special desserts. Even when the dessert I picked was not available because it was sold out. My wife's dessert (she got what she wanted) was soggy. My turkey was lukewarm; no dark meat; no choice about that. Everything tasted good enough that we took it all home in and undoubtedly when reheated tomorrow night it will be much better. That's the way it always is with Thanksgiving anyway. The restaurant is lovely, of course we will go back. The staff had obviously been hustling for hours. At 7pm they were running out of gas. A Swanson TV dinner hot from my toaster oven would have been better; and $200 cheaper.

   Very busy Thanksgiving evening. However staff kept on top of things and meals were delivered hot. The clam chowder was excellent.

   Open Table and Pacifica never mention only Thanksgiving’s Menu only. Thought you could order off regular menu. Expensive!!! .

    The server was very attentive and kind. The Seabass was incredible. The desert spoiled the dinner. The pie was not cooked and the Cheesecake was not good either. Unfortunately, we were given a piece of Cheesecake to take home. It was awful.
