    Waitress threw wine over my leg. Terrible! We ordered starters and desserts which never came, There was no attempt to reduce the bill for the poor service. We paid the full amount and left, there seemed to be no point in raising a complaint since they didn’t seem to care about customer service.

    All four of us had something different for main courses and desserts and all really enjoyed everything. The beef bourgignon was probably the best I've had. Food and wine was good value. The only slight downside was how hot it was in the restaurant.

    Our first visit here. Very convenient for the theatre. The restaurant was full at 6pm but despite that service was efficient. The set pre theatre menu was reasonable value but the wine was on the steep side.

    Great atmosphere, good service and good food. Only slight quibble was the caramelised onion tart was a bit too big for a starter and the pastry not crispy - still ate it all though!
