   I came on the weekend and was so excited coming in but honestly left very disappointed. Food was great but service was not - drinks were slow, and then half way through our server said we needed to quickly order given table needed in 45 mins. Understand seating times but to then say that abruptly, after slow drinks and starters, and then ask if we wanted to order desert, just all seemed really clunky. Shame as the food is great, vibe or experience was not, especially for the price point

   We really enjoyed our meal at Papi! The service was especially great - both our food and wine servers were friendly and knowledgeable. My friend has dietary requirements and the kitchen was able to modify most of the menu for her so that she wasn’t too restricted. Everything we ordered was delicious - the sourdough is a must, and we also loved the bream crudo, Jerusalem artichokes and beef tartare.

   Look - this place is simply outstanding. I have no idea why it's not always completely packed. The depth of flavour on every dish is on point, it's an imaginative menu, and wine list is honestly cray cray. Charlie in front of house is a treasure. If you like fab small plates and great wines you should add it to your list.

   Food was nice but a dish was missed and it seemed to have all come out in the wrong order. The staff was nice, but same, we waited for a long time and the dishes came out all mixed up. I would go back to try it again though.

   Papi is consistently the best restaurant in London. Every dish is sublime, the wine options are excellent and staff are exceptional. Friendly, innovative and joyful!
