A century of combined culinary experience unites the family of chefs behind Mosaic District's brightest new restaurant. Chef/Owner Brendan L'Etoile showcases his mastery of classic French cuisine in the vibrant open kitchen at the heart of the beautiful two-tiered dining room and bar, putting family twists on classic bistro fare and bringing a taste of metropolitan France to Northern Virginia. Traditional French onion soup and delicious duck confit are showcased alongside L'Etoile's favorite less-globalized dishes, like potato-crusted salmon filet and braised beef short rib, with a delectable variety of desserts and French wine cellar.

Our rooftop bar is OPEN for the season! Reserve your area today for groups of 8 or more, call 703-663-8931. First come, first serve, open seating for smaller groups, there is plenty of room!

Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Parc de Ville offers a charming bistro ambiance in the bustling Mosaic district. Guests rave about the "scrumptious" chicken liver pâté and "divine" escargots. The attentive service and vibrant live jazz enhance the experience. While some mention inconsistent service and menu discrepancies, many find it a delightful spot for special occasions.

We love Cafe Colline and should have gone there. The server just didn’t wait on us. Had to go to bar to order second drink, no water, food came late. Server team wanted to talk to each other rather than waiting on customers. I guess we should just have ordered takeaway.

Good was tasty but service was meh. And when we got the check, it automatically added a 20% tip and we were just a party of two. A bit annoying since the service was not that great and I would have probably not given the full 20%

Gratuity is theft. Great decor. Good food but there is better French. Service was friendly but understaffed. Will never return.

Love this food organization, so am sorry to rate our meal average this time around. First, they had no wine/beer on tap as described on menu. And while they offered alternatives, there was really no recognition that they failed on that front. "Just buy something else." Second, French onion soup had no onions. Just broth and croutons and cheese. Very disappointing. Salmon dinner was overcooked. With all that said, we loved the appetizers (escargot, goat cheese and pate liver). And still love this restaurant group (particularly Cafe Colline in Arlington VA). So, still highly recommend them! Just not a good night this time around.

Everyone in my party enjoyed the food and cocktails. Service was a little spotty and this is annoying since the 20% gratuity is automatically added. Noise level was much less than I expected after seeing pictures of it on Open Table.

We greatly appreciated the consideration of the staff. The walk to our table for two, both of us elderly and using canes, was difficult. The young host was apologetic and, unbidden, took the price of our soft drinks off the bill. We waited a bit long for our meals, but to be fair, it appeared that many dinners arrived at once. The food, a smash burger, and the salmon en croute, was very good.

I have taken many, many trips to France. The food here is as authenitically French and delicious as anywhere in Paris.

The food - steak and salmon- were excellent. Service was wonderful. Early in the evening there was a nice jazz group playing. But we were celebrating our anniversary and the mood was ruined by some sort of odd trivial contest emceed by a guy with a microphone. I would expect that at a sports bar, but not here.

We visited Parc de Ville while enjoying a little "staycation" at the Archer next door and our visit was an absolute pleasure. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and thoroughly appreciated the drinks, service, and food. Par de Ville presents a nice little French Bistro vibe that you will enjoy
