Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Peking Duck House in Pompano offers a delightful dining experience with its standout "authentic and flavorful" dishes. The Peking Duck, praised as "phenomenal," is a must-try, complemented by attentive service and a newly renovated space. While cocktails are absent, the wine and beer selection suffices. A local favorite for Chinese cuisine enthusiasts.

The new owners succeeded to create a good Chinese restaurant that was much needed!! The pork egg rolls although a bit bland and oily, were rolled and fried perfectly, you could taste it’s freshness, and the duck sauce was on point...add a touch of salt and sesame oil and it will be a 10! The Peking Duck is roast duck...the skin is NOT crispy. However it is perfectly seasoned and cooked. It is not served with the usual bao bun but rather the thinner moo shu pancakes. The addition of the pickles help to cleanse your palate. The pork udon did not specific that it is roast pork...I would not have ordered pork. The dish was embarrassingly small in comparison to other dishes. A touch heavy with the salty brown sauce which isn't traditional Chinese but more Asian fusion style like PF Changs...but it was still very yummy. Dry fried string beans I have always had with the minced pork, even the waiter asked if I wanted the pork and I said of course...but the dish came without any pork. The waiter didn't bother to mentioned it, but when I said there's no pork, he said the kitchen doesn't make it that way, which imo is the traditional right way. The manager was amazing, they had a few hiccups including door dash taking the wrong order, the trainee not able to complete orders without assistance, and an error when I purchased the gift card promo. She kept calm although you could tell she was feeling overwhelmed...kudos for her! Overall still one of the best Chinese this New Yorker has had in a long while!

I haven’t been here since the new ownership. It was very underwhelming. The duck was just OK. They used to make the pancakes for you no more. Don’t think I’ll go back for a while.

So I was actually there 2 days ago but for whatever reason Peking Duck cancelled my reservation after I had already eaten there. So they said to rebook the reservation so I could get my points. We started off with wonton soup that was good but it was just a little salty. My friend who had shrimp toast had to send it back. Over cooked and you could tell the oil was old. They also forgot to take it off my bill and that was another whole issue. The entrees were all very good. We will see if they correct my bill like they said they would

Enjoyed the beef and orange, mu shu pork had a new one Three Cup Chicken, was very dry, and came as a thigh and leg, which I did not know, so I know that's not for me. Appetizer egg roll and boneless pork, were great. Our server had no personality, quick , to the point and kept asking if we wanted to order more dishes. We have been there a few times since it reopened and will continue to patronize, but just a few thoughts.

Wonderful dinner. They really did a great job on the remodel. Very elegant and unique decor. Food was delicious and service was great. We enjoyed the dim sum appetizer and the duck is fantastic.

Food was excellent and came out hot.. the time spent in the restaurant for a twosome was about a half hour too long.
