   Unbelievable food, service and vibe. Allie our server was awesome and it’s on the top of the list when we come back to Nashville. Every dish was amazing and we had about 12 of them

   **Before I’m accused of being a “Karen” with this review (haha), I still tipped above 20% despite subpar service/experience…and the food was great! Here were the issues though: 1) Server and/or kitchen forgot items from our order twice and when asked to correct it, the server said “sure I’ll check” (never apologized) and then the forgotten food still never came to our table. The manager came over to apologize and asked if we wanted espresso martini shots as an apology?? Um, no, we just want our food we ordered, not a tiny glass of a liqueur masquerading as dessert in the middle of dinner. 2) The entire restaurant is wayyyyy too loud and could benefit from some sound-absorbing panels throughout; that goes for the patio as well. I get that it’s supposed to be a vibrant, high energy, fun spot and that’s great, and it is! But what’s the point of a fun night out dining with friends if you have to scream to talk to them and you can’t hear most of what someone is saying who is just sitting across from you??? 3) The wine glasses are so hideous and cheap-looking. They look like water glasses. Come on Pelato, time to level up. 4) They need more than one salad option (salad with lettuce, I mean). 5) Multiple staff were asked what restaurant occupied the previous space and they all said “I don’t know???” Why does the staff not know something like that? 6) We had to ask staff multiple times to remove used glassware and plates after they dropped items off at our table. 7) The host staff never greeted us or anyone else after us once we entered the door. Nor did they say thank you or goodbye when we left. They were extremely low energy and sullen.

   Yet another incredible Italian in Nashville, a city that until recently was mostly void of such. Great vibes, popular, crowded and with delectable simply prepared Italian. There's a good solid not overly expensive wine list. Prices are mercifully affordable. I highly recommend and I look forward to returning many times.

   We loved all that we ordered at Pelato! Only thing we commented on was our drinks took some time to be made but all staff were attentive, food was delicious and we loved where we were seated. Will definitely be coming back!

    We've been to Pelato multiple times and this time was great, as always. Nice variety on the menu, everything tastes soooo good. Friendly greeters and servers.
