    I booked Perry St for a romantic birthday dinner. It was the perfect spot. We enjoyed the food, an excellent wine selection and the great service. I’d definitely recommend and will come back the next time I’m in New York.

    The food was good quality. The waiter did not describe each Course of the chefs tasting menu. For a Jean George restaurant we were expecting more for the experience and presentation. The steamed lobster with ravioli and ginger sauce entree was delicious.

    The food was a bit disappointing. The soft scrambled eggs were in a bowl and very salty. The eggs Benedict weren’t hot. The hollandaise sauce was a mayo consistency. The wait for dessert was very, very long. The service and staff were wonderful. I’ve eaten at Perry before. The chef wasn’t having their best day.

    We were celebrating a special birthday and there were 7 of us. We sat at a spacious round table which is ideal for conversation. The food was fabulous as were the drinks. The staff could not have been better or more accommodating.
