Hands-down, one of the best restaurants in DC. I absolutely love this place. The sommelier is amazing. Food is great. I think they should serve dinner a little later; I think that’s an issue in DC generally.

Appetizers were amazing. Mains were all okay. And we felt rushed. Two courses done and cleared in 50 minutes.

It was a mixed bag. The food was delicious and beautifully presented! The service was good given that our waitstaff was only on the job for a couple of weeks. But we had to wait too long for a bottle of wine. By the time it came, we were almost finished with the meal. Apparently, everyone who could get the wine was in a meeting! Poor planning/wine service. I am sure they'll work it out, they've only been open two years.

The food was meager in quantity and had nothing special about it. All the food was over-priced for what small portions there were. In particular, the "snack" PETITE AIOLI was $18 and had just 3 pearl-sized oysters and 6 steamed mussels of little taste. The BLACK TRUMPET MUSHROOM RISOTTO @ $19 was smaller thasn a small bowl of oatmeal with no flavoring of real interest. The POULET A L’ORANGE @ $30 had a very small confit chicken leg that my wife was able to eat in about 6 bites total. What a disappointing experience, especially since we had such a good one just a year ago.

it was our first time at Petite Cerise and we loved it. Delicious food, cocktails and wine at a relatively reasonable price and a really nice manager and server. delighted to hear it's open for breakfast and brunch too! This is our new go-to restaurant downtown...
