Our building, a one story gray structure, sits back from the street, so we are easy to pass by! We offer complimentary Valet parking on our private parking lot and the side street is owned by Petite Violette as well.

                                                                    I had lunch with two friends on Friday November 22nd at Petite Violette and as usual everything was wonderful! The food and drinks as well as the service and atmosphere were fantastic. The servers and staff were so friendly and one even provided a quick tour of their beautiful Christmas/holiday decorations. Petite Violette is a perfect place to take friends or family for a great meal!

                                                                    I took my friend here today for her birthday lunch at her request. She arrived at 11:20 and was not forced to "valet" - I arrived at 11:30 and after parking was approached for my keys. Fine. The ambiance was nice and our servers (we had two, one in training) were wonderful. My friend ordered Beef Bourguignon and it was a big piece of fatty meat with over 50% gristle - mostly inedible. I ordered the crepe of the day with French onion soup and it was excellent. We informed the manager about the problem with the Beef Bourguignon and he had seen the remnants in the kitchen and said he would take it off the bill. The bill came and it had not been taken off. My friend pointed this out and the waiters came back with a corrected bill. The birthday bread pudding was complementary and excellent. I went to retrieve my car on this bitter day and the valet was nowhere to be found. All of the keys to the "valeted" cars were sitting in plain sight on top of the podium which is a theft risk. Nonetheless, I tipped the valet $3 in the slot, and retrieved my own keys and car which was right across the parking lot from where I had parked it myself and went home. I will not return.

                                                                    Good food, server was great. The restaurant is showing its age and needs some updating. We had 8pm reservations…don’t go beat late, they were sweeping up around us while finishing dinner.

                                                                    They have the best mussels. The onion soup is good as well. I had a Ceasar salad with croutons. My husband had a Ceasar salad with shrimp. The musical duo were delightful.

                                                                    Took four friend for lunch to celebrate birthday of 92 years young fabulous woman. The food - absolutely delicious and the service impeccable. The wait staff is very welcoming, accommodating and efficient. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch in joyful conversation, feeling no need to “eat and run”. I’m sure they thought we might not leave! :) I always feel as though I’m in a small quaint village in France enjoying a lovely meal at a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Thank you for a beautiful dining experience for my four friends!!
