   Restaurant. Was recommended by family member and it didn't disappoint the food was hot and delicious the staff were fab we will be back

   Had to ask for our drinks order and food order to be taken as staff kept walking past us. Took 25/30 mins for a drinks order to be taken and well over 40 minutes before a food order was taken and that was only because we had to ask.

   1st time visiting: they spilled fish sauce on me and table. The manager offered me to comeback to have free meal but I don’t need free meal. I will pay for my food 2nd time visiting: They cooked “Spicy Hue Noodles” completely wrong and terribly. It’s not Vietnamese food. After asking them, they said “Yes, everyone complains the same” so what’s point to continue serving customers when everyone complains??? 3rd time visiting: Food was so salty even I required “less salt” when ordered. The waitress brought the bill and explained what’s on the bills including service tip money (it is optional but they always put on bill without asking or letting customers do by themselves. Feel like they forced customers have to do so). The service was poor, we said we would like not to give “tip money” and after that they all showed attitude, we said thanks and goodbye but nobody respond. How wonderful about horrible attitude. I persuaded myself after 1st and 2nd time visiting that: everyone makes mistakes. I will try again. However this is the last time after 3 horrible experience. Please don’t advertise that is Vietnamese food. It’s absolutely NOT

   It is four years since we last visited Pho in Cardiff, but the place is still busy and buzzing even in the middle of the week. The food is as wonderful as ever and the service was impecable. The Hot and Spicy soup was really hot and spicy, much more to my taste than on a previous visit. I'd recommend the place to anyone looking for simple yet delicious food.

   The food is not authentic Vietnamese, meat ball was not made properly and the noodle was way too hard, dry and the soup is not cooked properly with beef and bones. We asked a waitress if she ate Vietnamese food before and she said the company has a lot of shops around UK and the taste of food has been modified to fit UK taste bugs. I have to assume UK consumers are forced into believing what they are paying for is Vietnamese food. When we asked for bill, found out a nearby 10 pound ‘tip’ was already in the bill without consulting us, it was outrageous. Later removed after we challenged it. In short, food is bad, service (payment) is worst. Make sure you check your bill before making payment.

    Me and my girlfriend had a very enjoyable meal at pho in Cardiff, the food was served on time and was to a very good standard, we are very grateful for the staff for their brilliant service. Have a lovely new year Matt and Lili
