   To be clear- I love this restaurant. Food is consistently good and experience usually is also. Tonight was not the case. They must have been understaffed because it took 25 minutes to get a drink I ordered, nearly an hour to get half of the food for 2 of us- the other 2 of us didn’t get our pizza until a while later and the others in our party had finished eating by then. Server was somewhat apologetic but obviously over extended. Never saw a manager which is concerning. Very disappointed in a place I like to visit. Hopefully just a one-off night for them.

   I brought my daughter for her 17th birthday. There were 4 of us, seating was good, ambiance seemed fine and food was delicious.

   We had a reservation for 12:15 and weren’t seating until after 12:30, even though more than half the tables in the restaurant were empty. Once we were seated, everything took a long time. Our food was brought to the table a plate or two at a time over 15 or 20 minutes. My husband’s $18 Greek salad with chicken had about 2 tablespoons chicken. I’m sure that the issue was understaffing, and it would have made a world of difference for a manager to make the rounds apologizing for how things were going and explaining why. We were not the only ones in the restaurant who experienced poor service.

   Many good selections if you are there for the pizza, which is a GOOD reason to go. A kids’ menu is a plus! Draft beer choices - excellent! Many choices for cask wine. Service was a little slow, but the restaurant was crowded that Sunday evening. My biggest reason for not giving this a 5Star is the noise level!! The music was cranked up way too high; our family had a hard time carrying on conversations!

   It seemed that they were woefully understaffed. I waited over 20 minutes before we even got water or acknowledged by staff. The food is always great. The hey were out of frosé. Definitely seemed like an off day, but not a great experience.

   Our experience was great, I even had made them a new drink called the, "Signature Bert Cocktail." Our waiter was a good guy, polite and the atmosphere was very laid back. It's pretty liberal there (not a big fan of all that) but the food didn't disappoint and was all at under $100 so no complaints, especially for valentines dinner date ♥️

   The pizza was very good but the donut holes were delicious. Would go back for 5h3 donut holes.

    This is one of our fav spots! In fact, it’s our go-to. We usually come for dinner, but they have the BEST brunch in town, hands down - you should definitely try it! Also, I’m gluten sensitive, but I can eat here because of the methods they use to make their sourdough. It’s much healthier. Today was especially great, our server was McKenna and I don’t think I’ve had better! She was super friendly, gave some great tips on dishes, super attentive and detailed. 10 out of 10!
