   We were there for lunch. The server was excellent and the ambiance in the old high ceiling bar area was great. The Pimento Cheese appetizer was exceptional. The burger was fish and chips were top notch. We would go back again, especially at the Holidays.

   We loved the atmosphere at Pierpont. Staff was very friendly. We arrived early and were able to get seated right away. My husband got the Philly and thought it was amazing. I got the Cajun Benedict. The flavor was delicious and I loved the potatoes!! My low score was due to my food being cold. I imagine they were short on help so our food may not have been brought out in a timely manner. Overall we loved Pierpont and will return.

   Host was a bit abrupt and not too welcoming. More consumed with heads down and functional part of job than being the first face of the restaurant. Not completely off putting, but not warm as you’d hope. Server was good and had good follow up but again not super warm or welcoming. Food is always good. Ambiance is always excellent.

   The steak at Pierponts is better than other steakhouses in kc. Tender, beefy, and cooked exactly how we wanted. The sides are wonderful and I like how a side comes with the steak. If you want extra sides, they are expensive though. They charge $8-16 a side which is enough for one person. This is the same price as other steakhouses that serve 2-3 people per side. They also charge $1 for bread, which I didn’t know until I got the ticket. It’s only a dollar, so I paid it, but be aware. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Two of our glasses had lipstick prints on them. He quickly gave us new ones and the manager came over and apologized. If you want less room noise ask for the carpeted seating area. The ambience of Pierpont is vintage, cozy, and opulent. You’re stepping back in time with marble and dark wood. I will definitely be back.

   This place is wonderful. We decided to come here to celebrate our anniversary 2 years ago and have never been disappointed. We will be continuing to come here to celebrate for as long as we can! Their level of service and care cannot be beat.

   It was a Christmas celebration with my grown kids. Absolutely exceptional! Alex, our waiter....TOP NOTCH! Food...AMAZING! 10 out of 10!

    I had a wedge salad which was absolutely delicious and the lemon Parmesan dressing that was on the salad was so good. I also had the Conductor Breakfast Burger which was very good. There were onions on the burger mixed in with the whiskey bacon jam which were not mentioned on the menu description and the Pierpont fries that were included had rosemary flavoring on them which was also not mentioned in the menu description so I ended up not eating them. The service was excellent and we were seated immediately. They have a nice brunch selection and the restaurant has a nice ambiance.
