We arrived early, and we were able to sit at our table fairly quickly. However, this didn't mean we could get our food an earlier. The service was very slow, and although the waitress advised there were a few tables ahead of us, we had an hour wait for food. The restaurant was very busy as it was Father's Day, so we expected things to be slower than normal but disappointed it was so long. The food was excellent as normal and the staff attentive. We will go back another time as we enjoy everything about the place.

The food was delicious and the servers are all lovely, if we needed anything there was always someone around and they are all happy to help.

Cute village location. Lacking in ambience and food is average at best. Thought it was very expensive for what it was. Not likely to return or recommend.

As our second visit it was a total repeat of the first the food was outstanding the servers attentive and a great atmosphere To go to the same place twice with a great gap between you would expect to have something to be different but no it was superb

Our first visit and I had mentioned that it would be for a birthday treat so it was very much appreciated that the table reflected this with a banner, thank you for taking notice. Service was very slow (it was not that busy as our reservation was for 20.15) but friendly. The food was delicious and the wine in the carafe was surprisingly tasty. A good experience and we look forward to revisiting.

This was a good experience overall - nice food, very friendly waiting staff and the restaurant is in a lovely location. However, it is expensive for what it is, we were waiting over 45 mins for our food (although the restaurant wasn’t especially busy) , and there were a few mix ups with the food. And the toilets need to be better maintained, especially as they are unisex! But overall, I would return.
