Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
PINO boasts a stunning location with attentive waitstaff noted for their "incredible service." However, the restaurant faces challenges with a "boring menu" and inconsistent food quality. Positive highlights include the delicious flatbread and watermelon salad. While the setting is beautiful, improvements in menu offerings and consistency could enhance the experience.

My friends and I came here when it was first opened 2 years ago for Thanksgiving . The menu and food were Mediterranean focus. The food was delicious. We decided to do thanksgiving here again. WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE ORIGINAL MENU? The guy who sat us only gave us the thanksgiving menu and not the regular menu. I had to ask to clarify that they do serve non thanksgiving food. Our waitress was fantastic, but the place was very dark. So much so that we could barely read our poorly printed menu. Anyway, our humus appetizer was meh. The pita bread was store bought quality and cold. My carbonara was ok. My friend enjoyed his typical thanksgiving dinner. He had an overpriced glass of wine at $28 for 9 OZ. Really ?? Without telling us, the restaurant added 22% tip on top of the bill. I am hoping that this only happens during Thanksgiving. I don't mind, but please tell your patrons beforehand. I didn't look at my final bill closely and added another 20% to the bill. Luckily, my friend brought it to my attention. Overall, the whole meal was meh. We gave won't be back.

The service was good. Waiter was attentive. However the food was not good at all. No flavor flatbread was soggy with way too much cheese. The steak was flavorless the lettuce in the ceasar salad tasted old. Was disappointing for the cost.

Dinner reservations made through Open Table did not specify they do not use the restaurant nor its menu during the week. We found that out when we arrived. We had to eat in the bar and from the bar menu, which is just a significantly abbreviated version of the restaurant menu. We specifically came to try items from the restaurant menu. Pino’s website did not specify this restriction either. We had 3 dishes: 2 pork chops and 1 chicken Parmesan. The chicken parm was not on the bar menu, (only on the restaurant menu) but the kitchen was nice enough to make it, as that was one of the reasons we came here. Poor quality food. The sauce of the chicken parm was dry, as if the sauce had been sitting out for quite some time, not that flavorful, but the chicken was cooked well. Our pork chops were embarrassing medallions that were very thin and very overcooked, but the mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables were decent. It was painfully obvious they overpriced their bar menu. It was verified when we found out the items that existed in both menus were of different prices; the bar menu was more expensive by several dollars. It was pointed out to the bartender and manager. The manager did not realize that, but we later overheard her tell the bartender that it was correct: The two different menus posted correctly on their website. So, they purposely upcharge their bar menu, for the same items served in the restaurant. I rarely post negative reviews nor complain about the poor-quality of my meals, but there were too many issues that compounded into a very negative dining experience here. The most egregious practice is their posting of 2 menus that upcharges the common items between them on the bar menu. Horrible practice; we felt mislead and cheated.

Our waiter Darian was wonderful. He offered of menu suggestions and then gave us a lot of advice about things to do in the area. The flatbread and watermelon salad were both delicious- highly recommend both.

What a beautiful place, but the menu is boring I’d have to say and the wine list has some good options but NOTHING was available to order because they didn’t have any in stock. Service really needs a lot of work we felt ignored and at one point forgotten about. The charcuterie board was nothing but stale club crackers and pre cut cheese from the dairy department at the local grocery store. Our meals were ok but you really can’t screw up steak tips and a chicken sandwich, again boring menu Zzzz I hope they figure it out because it’s a beautiful spot!!
