   Everything that could’ve gone wrong, went wrong. Horrible experience and absolutely embarrassed that I brought friends along for a Xmas get together here. I booked for 4 people for a 7pm seating. I was notified the day prior that they’ve changed my booking to 7.15pm which was fine. We rocked up at 7.25pm as it started to rain and trying to find parking as close as possibly to the venue. The hostess first words to us was “lucky you arrived, I was about to give your table away”. This wasn’t in a joking or light hearted away. We sat and ordered our food. The waitress seemed quite inexperienced and wasn’t able to answer any of our questions regarding the menu. Our entrees started to arrive. We were sent food we didn’t order. Then our mains started arriving. First came a prawn truffle pizza we didn’t order. We alerted staff that we didn’t order it and they took it away. We were then told there was a delay with our pasta as it wasn’t put in the till. The pasta was grossly undercooked. The steak was cold and cut thickly. The fries had no salt. Felt like we were chewing raw meat. The vegetarian pizza which came out at approx 9pm was flat and basic. Not sure what type of pizza oven they’re using. To top it all off, they rushed us out of the venue. The number of times staff came to our table to take our plates away that were still full, was too many to count. I assume the manager, dressed in a white shirt, came to our table to help clear our plates when we were ready and we did make some light comments about the service and food. We were then served the bill immediately and not asked if we wanted any dessert. This was at approx. 915pm. There were at least 3 other tables still there. Will never come back again and have told several friends do not waste your time or money at Pippis.

   Amazing venue, vibe, location and overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I’m sure they’d love to get their liquor license, but BYO works fine for us. They were short a few staff, but everyone was very nice, and of course it’s early days. Food was good, we’ll be back!

   Great service and atmosphere, food was delicious but servings were small. Pizza not amazing. Poor choices for deserts ...im sure this will change as they settle into their position in the market at Cronulla. Looking forward to these things improving as this is a great BYO waterfront location and seamless operation, the menu just needs tweaking.

   Atmosphere was lovely on a hot summer night…very disappointed either the food and service. Couldn’t get a wine glass as they were all in the dishwasher then came out very hot, had the banquet for 8 people…booked it @$59 per head weeks ago, to be told it is $64. Food portions were so small, main meals were 2 small plates to share, 2 lamb kebabs with 8 shriveled up pieces of lamb between 8.. they even took our half eaten plate of calamari away… had to chase them to get it back. Left starving….and we were all women…very underwhelming, can’t seem to handle the restaurant size. Won’t be returning unfortunately

   The location is amazing! Parking was tricky would suggest an uber. The food was delicious and our favourite was the pizzas!! Yum!! The staff and service was impeccable. We really enjoyed the night 🥰

   Quality of food was varied. A little overpriced for what was provided. Flavours of both pasta dishes were good with lovely sauces but mostly pasta. Pizza topping was very light on with a soggy base. Suggest a few more choices for mains once the cafe is established and clientele return. Drinks were very good. Although a cafe, repeatedly reaching across someone’s face to serve another’s meal is unnecessary especially when there’s ample room to serve from the left. Perhaps wait staff just learning in a busy environment. It’s a lovely venue and very comfortable seating. Staff were friendly.

   We enjoyed our first time at Pippis - food & location were great. The noise at the playground was a bit much though!

   Excellent, friendly customer service. Great location overlooking Gunnamatta Bay. The decor is beautiful. It is a fair weather location, but when the heavy rain came in the staff were very quick to relocate us inside and pull down the blinds so we could continue dining. A special thanks to the manager who was very accomodating of my brother’s wheelchair needs. I have been twice and both times were great. Love the food. Will be back in January.

    The venue location is great, the staff were friendly and efficient. Very limited for choice for a main meal.
