   We were early for our 7.15 booking for 2 and were greeted by a staff member but left standing for 5 mins while 5 staff walked past ignoring us. We were finally given the worst table. When we asked if there was another 2 seater we were told they were booked. When I said we booked the girl just said no. When we left 2 hours later there were 2 better tables empty and had been the whole time we were there. We were charged $10 each corkage but it is 100% BYO. We were charged 5% surcharge for a Saturday. The prawns and octopus in the pasta was cut into minuscule pieces. If you pieced it together there was probably only 1 prawn and 1 octopus ring and all for $34. In short don’t do it as staff are unfriendly and untrained and cost is excessive.

   Service was great, meals need some improvement Starters - the sourdough was very tough, can I suggest it be served warm and/or crusty, kingfish and Porchetta were great, calamari was ok. Main - my Steak was over cooked (ordered MR) and very fatty, other diner at my table steak was cooked perfectly (also MR) but very fatty. Fish and chips was ok, Cotoletta was very nice Overall nice spot, lovely helpful team providing service

   Beautiful design and layout, food was delicious, my only feedback is they were extremely pushy to hurry us up/ order and be out. Our waitress was getting alot of pressure from the male host, whose service wasn’t professional.

   Had a fantastic birthday dinner with my family our meal was delicious service was excellent when it started raining we were moved closer to the centre of the restaurant without having to ask - we fully recommended for a wonderful dining experience

   Amazing outlook onto the water. Service was great… the girls were very friendly 😁 We had Dimmy who was lovely. Food was very tasty, for lunch, but found the Mediterranean Salad quite a small serve for the price. Also found the $10 corkage pp very expensive. Cost us $30 corkage for a $15 bottle of wine! Would not return in a hurry for this reason. Have been for breakfast which was really good. Overall a lovely venue……

   Poor service. Trying to call them was terrible. Goes to a very unprofessional answer phone. Very short staffed. Poor floor management. Food is great but expensive. There were no pizzas on the day we went. The view is great but not worth the other issues. .

   We had quite a few different servers throughout the day - I don’t know if they communicated much with each other as we kept being asked the same questions (which doesn’t actually bother us at all). The oddest thing was, we were planning to just slowly pick food and enjoy a long afternoon - however we kept feeling like we were being pressured to order. Then at 2:50 we were told if we wanted to order any food we would have to have it all ordered by 3pm. This was fine, but would have been nice to let us know upon arrival - or allow us to book any earlier time slot. Food was tasty - just a bit small for the price. Bread would have been lovely warm!

   On a terribly hot day only hot table water was served. The fans were only half on. Everyone was fanning themselves. My friends Lentil salad was unappealing and tasteless. My Mango salad .. with hardly any mango or dressing was very disappointing. On my second bite I bit into an elastic band in the salad. We called the wait girl over and she was apologetic and said I would not be charged for it... but I was. I then had to wait for the bill to be redone and another wait staff told us it was time to go. We told her we were waiting for the bill to be redone. It seemed a real bother adjusting the bill. Won't be back and cancelled my breakfast booking when I got home for the Saturday. The manager, assuming it was the guy with the man bun on his phone a lot, did not come over to apologise or see if we wanted anything else. Not good.

    Great location and beautiful set up…felt like I was in Europe….principote Mykonos, Capri. Disappointed in: My guests and arrived @ 11.50 for a 12.00 sitting. There was quite a line up of patrons. Staff completely ignored the customers talking to one another until 12. Instead of acknowledging patrons or welcoming them. By the time we were seated it was 12.15. I did not quite understand the logic of it. It was also an extremely hot day waiting in the sun did not help. We were seated write next to the boat yard. The disgusting dust and fibres coming from the boat that they were working on was coming all over us, our table, utensils and plates. The waitress came over was disgusted herself for the plates and table were black with soot. Maybe a plastic petition to block out the boat yard work coming in to restaurant. I Understand it is byo and not licensed and we needed to pour our own wine, but I had to ask for wine glasses, a bucket and bottle opener (or was that byo too?) I did expect better with the Grounds conglomerate. You have many restaurants and have been around for years. Thank goodness I was with great company and we made the most of it. Food very average.
