Conveniently located on Brick Boulevard in Brick, NJ, PJ Sweeney is Ocean County’s premier destination for authentic Irish Hospitality and Cuisine. The dining rooms feature warm inviting colors with tasteful décor reminiscent of the many quaint pubs found in Ireland. The dining rooms are set back from the bar area in order to provide a quieter dining experience for the Lunch and Dinner guests. Each of the 3 dining rooms can also be closed off to host private events of any size. PJ Sweeney’s menu features many of the classic Irish dishes such as Fish & Chips, Shepard’s Pie and Guinness Beef Stew. The Monday night special is great. You pay your bill with cash and get your food 1/2 off. Great deal. Their Chicken Pot pie and Shepherd pie is very good. If you like it spicy the Chicken Murphy has a kick. Fun bar.

PJ Sweeney's has delicious food with large portions for the main entree. Salad did not come with any of the three entrees we ordered...seems like it is extra $s if you want a salad. We choose to get one appetizer (mozz. sticks) and two desserts. So we were "full" but the dinner check was "big". The atmosphere was "lively" and the service was good.
